Planning your wedding from another country is pretty intense and quite scary, imagine not seeing your venue until your actual wedding?! Well that’s exactly what Sophia and David did. They totally hit-it-off on the phone with the Launcells Barton team, and could see the potential in the then unfinished venue. I think this is the key – find suppliers that really understand you and your vision for your wedding, and with a little trust (and fairy dust) it’ll all fall into place…
The Lost Orangery is such a magical wedding venue. Every single time I see the incredible crumbling castle walls, lake complete with row boat, and beautiful reception room, it makes me swoon. Bride Ellie clearly felt the same, having fallen for the house before she even realised it was a wedding venue!
The wonderful Oli from McGivern Photography was on hand to capture all the fun, including Ellie and Danny’s turn on the water to light their fire pit (which was in the middle of the lake)! We have a lovely video too from Mills Films, who Ellie and Danny found in our recommended supplier directory, The List.
Get ready to get your groove on at this brightly coloured festival themed wedding. I guarantee it’ll be the perfect start to your weekend.
If there’s one place you feel totally at ease it’s at home, and bride and groom Charlotte & Jonathan just knew this would be the perfect place to celebrate their wedding day in style. They hired a fabulous tipi, decked it in wonderful DIY decor and wild flowers, and all this pretty culminated in a full dance floor and fireworks display.
It sounds like the ideal day and I can just tell from all the emotion filled captures by McGivern Photography it really was.
Chateau weddings don’t come much more relaxed than this gorgeous, intimate wedding at the beautiful Chateau De Lisse. Emma and Dan considered many venues in both France and Italy and this one ticked all of their boxes. We can see why – the outdoor ceremony space alone is just stunning, without even mentioning the grounds and charming house!
They chose the lovely Oli from McGivern Photography to capture their big day and he truly did it in style, as well as lots of gorgeous shots from the day, it looks like one helluva party went down after dark…and don’t worry, we’ve got the film from MotionCraft Creative for you too, so you can see for yourselves!
The setting for this incredibly gorgeous country wedding is non other than our fabulous front page sponsors and Love Lust List members Launcells Barton, and oh my it is going to take your breath away.
Every moment and detail captured by McGivern Photography is incredible. You can feel the love bouncing off the page, especially during the magical sunset portraits. With fabulous DIY projects adding to the elegant rustic vibe, including the amazing wooden sign put together by the bride & groom, and sentimental gestures of tribal shawls from the Brides Mum to pay tribute to the brides heritage.
After you’ve finished swooning over this inspiring day and you realise you love Launcells Barton as much as we do, you’ll be pleased to know they have an open day at the end of January. Why not pop along, we promise you won’t regret it.
Now lets take a look…
