Destination weddings always make me swoon, especially ones in beautiful France. But today’s is extra special, I just love everything about it, from the dried flower stationery, painstakingly crafted by Emma, to her stunning Halfpenny London gown. From magical venue La Leotardie, to the bridesmaids in forest green dresses, every last detail is thoughtful but there’s nothing over-styled about it.
Ally and Pat’s wedding is just gorgeous. The pair were really lucky with the weather, even needing parasols to keep guests cool – and this meant they could also have their humanist ceremony outdoors, making for some stunning photographs. Michelle Wood (along with Ania Ames as second shooter) captured everything beautifully that I’m pretty sure Ally and Pat will be poring over for years and years to come.
The florals for this wedding are just dreamy and it came as no surprise to me that this is the work of the lovely Gemma from The Country Flower Company – one of our favourite florists and a member of our handpicked supplier directory – The List. Look out for the hand illustrated stationery from The Wildflower Illustration Co. too! Rebecca is another of our recommended suppliers, her work is just so pretty.
This morning’s wedding is very close to our hearts. Our lovely real bride Emma got married over the summer and it was such a treat to share her planning journey with you all. Emma is truly a beautiful person inside and out who has been a RMW reader since the very, very beginning. Like me, she’s wedding mad and is genuinely just all about the love, which makes her wedding even more special.
As you’d imagine, like a true RMW couple, Emma and Dean’s wedding day is full of details that are personal and special to them. Their DIY gin bar is just the best idea. Guests were asked to create a bottle of flavoured gin to bring along, these were then added to their pretty display cabinet and guests could sample them, before voting for their favourite. This needs to become a wedding thing – let’s make it happen people! Not only does it get guests involved in a bit of healthy competition, but it’s also a great way of saving a little bit of money on the bar tab too 😉
So without further ado, let’s enjoy Emma and Dean’s wedding day. It’s an absolute cracker of a day so get comfy, start scrolling and leave some love for this gorgeous pair at the bottom of the post…
It may have been raining at this Brighton Bandstand wedding but the spirit of the guests and this celebration were certainly not dampened. Lifted not only by the brightly coloured umbrellas but undoubtably the love shared between this stylish couple.
Groom Max dons a sharp Hugo Boss suit and Bride Emma looks radiant in bridal separates. Mixing a romantic Halfpenny London tulle skirt with an elegant Sassi Holford corset. I also absolutely adorable her daisy Luna Bea headdress which matches her wild bouquet perfectly.
As well as ogling the momentous Brighton bandstand and all the fashion prepare to swoon at all the portraits captured by Michelle Wood Photographer. Talk about romantic. This couple are seriously adorable.
