We’re stripping this back things afternoon for some minimalist inspiration with modern wedding ideas, fierce fashion and luxe details. The clean lines and paired back approach is so refreshing and makes all the little details even more striking.
Get ready to swoon as the lovely We Are The Bazeleys and Kayleigh Pope Photography show us how to do fierce bridal style. There are gorgeous Jesus Peiro wedding dresses straight from the Barcelona Bridal Week catwalks, as well as statement jewellery, natural makeup and feminine wedding hairstyles. Plus, dried flowers and props from our friends Karen at Passion for Flowers and Gemma from The Wedding of My Dreams. Not to mention the gorgeous Compton Verney in Warwickshire playing host to all this minimalist magic.
It doesn’t take much to make good styling sing, and this gorgeous minimalist wedding is proof that less can most certainly be more. The monochrome colour palette, with grey and amber accents, is modern and timeless in equal measure, and allows the amazing space at Sunbeam Studios to shine whilst also creating an intimate atmosphere. The guests – who flew in from all over the world to celebrate with our Hong Kong-based couple – must have greatly enjoyed the elegance of the occasion, whilst also letting their hair down to music by GoldBeat (booked via handpicked RMW supplier Alive Network). Oh, and plus points for the piñata, which was clearly a hit with the kids (and, ahem, big kids for that matter).
You can’t get much more classic or modern than a monochrome colour scheme. The perfect mix of pure and sultry, and effortlessly chic to boot. The Bijou bride made sure every detail was executed to perfection, enlisting the help of some wonderful suppliers to bring her vision to life.
I especially love the understated, but elegant flowers by Catherine Short Floral Design. Both the single stems of Anemones and the hanging installation look divine. As does the bouquet of all white Genista florals.
Then there are the cakes by Gaya’s Cakes! Each one as delicious as the next, and an absolute work of art in their own right.
The talented Igor Demba was behind the lense, who has certainly brought a little magic to the captures with his signature emotive style.
With a gorgeous colour palette, a textural combination of dried and fresh flowers and a selection of stylish bridal wear from the latest collection by Halfpenny London, this minimalist bridal inspiration will have you weak at the knees. Louise from One Stylish Day always creates beauty and with Agnes Black taking the images, it’s a match made in heaven.
We couldn’t agree more with the statement L E S S I S M O R E.
Especially when you have a beautiful location such as Launcells Barton in Cornwall as your backdrop. Plus the talented styling and design skills of On Serpentine Shores to make sure it is shown off to its full potential. Perfectly drawing upon both classical and contemporary elements from talented local suppliers to create simple, minimalistic inspiration.
The tablescape with ceramic pots, semi naked cakes and a few carefully placed flowers are more than enough to make your heart skip a beat. Especially with Peach & Jo’s beautiful captures. And that beautifully fitted Cherry Williams backless bridal gown is to die for. I think even Meghan herself, the princess of understated elegance, would agree.
We’ve long recommended looking outside of the world of weddings to find inspiration for your own big day. Often interior and floral trends can be seamlessly transferred into wedding design, and using these influences ensures your styling is completely unique and visionary. With that in mind, we’re sharing this beautiful minimalist inspiration shoot from Anemone Style and Genevieve Wedding Photography to show you just how this is achieved.
The styling here allows the incredible lofty venue to breathe and really celebrates each element of design – from the delicate and considered florals by Kitten Grayson, to the ceramic plates from Lucia Fraser. It’s paired back, minimal elegance at it’s very best.
