Heather and Peter are not only the cutest couple, but they have one of my most favourite ideas ever to share with you for treasuring those precious moments and feelings you experience on your big day. So once you’ve pored over and pinned your way through all of M and J Photography‘s gorgeous captures make sure you read their adorable account of their day too.
Hedsor House made the most stunning location for this elegant wedding, with gorgeous pastel blooms decorating the ceremony and reception. It also included the loviest of backdrops for all those bridal party selfies and special wedding morning moments. You ready to be wowed?
It also features sumptuous satin gowns by Charlotte Simpson Bridal and Ghost Fashion who are members of our Look Book, and together the bridal party look absolutely flawless. Not forgetting Groom Andrew in his Military uniform, with the moments captured by M&J Photography of Lucy & Andrew walking through the Guard of Honour from the grooms fellow swordsmen being some of my absolute favourites from this gorgeous day.
If you haven’t pinned it yet. Why on earth not?! M&J Photography captured all the floral details of each bloom for you. Including some of my favourite flowers, Peonies, Snowflake Spray Roses, Hydrangea, Gypsophila, Avalanche Roses, all in crisp shades of white, and all looking absolutely fabulous next to Soft Eucalyptus, Seasonal English Foliage and Silver SenecioI greenery.
The reception then took place at Chiswick House and Gardens, giving a chic country edge to this elegant city wedding. With more dreamy sunset portraits to pore over and fabulous fashion to admire, you’ll be book marking this for a second, third and forth look it’s so stunning.
Whenever we feature gorgeous destination weddings I always want to jet off immediately and visit the gorgeous location. La Bastide de Gordes in Provence, France is no exception, with M & J Photography capturing the gorgeous views over the valley and the Luberon mountains as well as all the love and pretty of Stefanie & Ravi’s elegant outdoor wedding perfectly.
The picture of Ravi wiping away a tear as Stefanie arrives in her gorgeous satin fishtail bridal gown is priceless, as is the one of them giggling down the aisle after they are pronounced husband and wife in front of their family and friends. Also can we just take a moment to appreciate that gorgeous reception set up & florals, with those gorgeous chair backs being made from sentimental pieces of lace from Stefanie’s Grandma.
I am literally swooning as I type, as everything about this wedding so heart wrenchingly beautiful.
What a classic and elegant wedding – filled with so much light love and laughter. The images of Steph and her best girls are some of the loveliest I have ever seen in terms of really capturing the sunshine joy of the day. Chiswick House and Gardens is a spectacular venue, I didn’t know such an enchanting place could be hidden away in the depths of London.
Steph’s “onyx” gown by Catherine Deane suits her perfectly, I love the lace detailing and feminine swish. And of course let’s not forget Hari, equally dapper in his navy suit by Rock My Wedding sponsor Jack Bunneys. Together they make a gorgeous and extraordinarily well dressed pair of newly-weds.
WOW, just wow! The fashion, the views, the decor, everything is just SO, so beautiful! I don’t think I’ve ever said this before, but feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but I think if I was to do it all again THIS stunning destination wedding in Italy would be the day I would choose.
I mean seriously could you imagine getting married on a hill top and then sitting down to your al fresco dinner at that beautiful table setting with picturesque views that just go on for miles. It’s just fairytale stuff isn’t it. And as if it wasn’t perfect enough already but later enjoying the warm evening sun surrounded by romantic candle and festoon lights.
I haven’t even got to the fashion yet! Our gorgeous Bride Julie looks so elegant in her Anoushka G embellished gown, perfectly twinkling in the sun & romantic candle light and her best girls, well they look stunning by her side in white lace Coast dresses. Our very stylish Groom looks very dapper too in his bespoke tailored three piece navy suit from Norton & Townsend, perfectly accessorised with pocket watch.
Some serious swooning was going on whilst I was putting this together for you lovely lot, I just know you’re going to LOVE it!
Nope. It’s not gin and tonics for us this morning but rather the delicious wedding of Georgie and Tim which is equally as refreshing and will make you just as giddy as if you’d consumed ten of the aforementioned beverages.
This morning’s wedding is a corker and I’m more than a little bit smug to be sharing it with you. If you’re a sucker for a bespoke cocktail bar then this one is for you. If you love romantic veils and beautiful couture wedding gowns then I can say hand on heart you’ll lust after this. And if you go weak at the knees over elegant bridesmaids in uber chic hot pink skirt and top combos then you better go and get yourself a chair.
And I haven’t even mentioned the awesome stationery or the chocolate and strawberry tiered cake or the bird emblazoned table plan nor the blossom at each guest’s table setting.
I’m telling you folks this big day is going to be pinned to within an INCH of its life.
If you caught up with the blog this morning or checked into our Facebook page then you’ll be aware that this week is International Week on RMW. Hello and welcome!!
International week you ask? What’s that? Is it where we all dress up as parodies of countrymen from various nations (think berets and necklaces of garlic for the French, lederhosen for the Germans) and eat their national dish by the bucketload? (Did you ever do that at school?!)
No folks. It’s much, MUCH better than that!
International week is all about treating you folk to the most sublime, awe-inspiring and fun weddings from around the world. Yep that’s right, we’ve gone GLOBAL.
And why have we decided to do that then? Well I’m glad you asked…
It’s all because our Love Lust List, our handpicked directory of wedding suppliers, has gone international!
If you haven’t already found our Love Lust List – then where have you been?! It’s THE place to go to source suppliers who have the official Rock My Wedding seal of approval – lovely people who we know will help you create the wedding of your dreams.
And now, we’re proud to announce that regardless of where you might be marrying we can now help you find great suppliers from all over the world!
We thought we’d help kick the week off by sharing the RMW Team’s favourite past destination weddings…the ones that made our hearts flutter and our eyes get a bit wet.
Not only is the smell of Spring in the air, it’s also starting to feel a lot warmer and brighter too. Hello lighter mornings!! As promised in our post a couple of weeks ago we’re looking to RMW’s favourite season of the year to provide the theme for our first Pinterest competition of 2014.
Yep folks, Spring in all her glory is the key to success this time round. Think cherry blossom and frolicking lambs, baby chicks and bursts of soft pinks, lilacs and yellows. Honestly it’s a veritable feast for the eyes…wouldn’t you agree?
