When it comes to wedding suits, there aren’t many brands that have been doing it for as long as Moss Bros. Their service is second to none, but did you know their styling and advice for grooms is also top notch? Today we’re sharing four trends we think will be big for 2018, along with the items you need from Moss Bros. to create the final look. Whether you’re looking to hire or buy, Moss Bros. have got you covered…
The Secret Garden near Ashford in Essex is where this pastel pink and gold wedding took place, and it is every bit as magical as it sounds.
Being blessed with good weather, Louise & Andy took full advanced of the sunshine by having a gorgeous ceremony outside. The wooden frame gazebo adorned with blooms made the perfect altar and focal point for the ceremony and all those adorable moments captured by White Stag Wedding Photography as the couple say I do.
Now on to Bride Louise who looks absolutely jaw dropping in her stunning Sottero & Midgley gown, fitting her in all the right places and looking every bit the hollywood starlet with her new bleach blond hair and red lipstick. It’s no wonder groom Andy looks totally smitten as she walks down the aisle.
I’ve been looking forward to blogging a wedding from James Frost for a while now, I just love how he incorporates his skill of landscape photography (check out James’ Instagram feed) with capturing a wedding. It’s very subtle, but the framing of his images is just perfection. As is the light captured. I mean those couple shots?! Simply breathtaking.
And talking of breathtaking, have you seen Charis’ dress? A bespoke design by Danielle Jade Windsor that will make your heart skip a beat. I love the nod to Grecian simplicity and it lends itself well to the vintage travel theme the couple adopted for their wedding day.
Right, are you sitting comfortably? Then let’s begin…
YES to embracing colour for your big day like Nina & Dave! Their whole wedding is a confetti bomb explosion of joy. And it actually pours out of the images from Marianne Chua – in every single photo people are laughing and smiling. Especially those where the guests (and not just the little ones) are LOVING the garden games. And those where the boys look alarmingly good in the Bridesmaids accessories…
Talking of which, I’d never think to put my Bridesmaids in teal and burnt orange, but my goodness, doesn’t it look lovely? And as well as all of the colour, there are lots of fabulous details – trestle table dining, wild flowers, seed packet favours, an ‘UP’ style American mail box for cards complete with balloons…it’s a veritable feast for the eyes.
This is a wedding for all of you pastel, afternoon tea loving ladies out there, held in the most romantic of settings! The Secret Garden Kent is beautiful. Think walled gardens, gravelled paths flanked by wild blooms and secret corners covered by hanging trellises. Penny’s choice of soft pink and yellow blooms just makes it look even more pretty.
There’s a particularly impressive cake too, made by Penny’s best friend, who is clearly a very talented lady. I’m also loving the Cocktail Cart which is brimming with rather delicious looking drinks. I can’t promise that this wedding won’t make you hungry (and crave a cocktail in the sunshine) but I can promise that you’re going to love all of the pastel details…ready to take a look?
Neave and Patrick had a beautiful outdoor humanist ceremony as Rivington Hall Barn complete with beautiful blooms, sunshine and rustic flourishes, all captured perfectly byThe Love Lust List member Jessica Reeve. The portraits are so romantic…and the bouquet? You will probably all want one. I know I do.
I must also mention the immense braiding that is happening across the board, you will all probably want one of those hair-dos to go with the bouquet.
Ahhh how elegant does everyone look at this wedding? It’s so lovely to see Bridesmaids in rich dark purple floor length gowns, the boys in tails and gorgeous Bride Hannah in a structured dress by Jesus Peiro. Just because you’re having a barn wedding, it doesn’t mean that you have to have rustic or bohemian styling, and Gate Street Barn is a fabulous venue for versatility – we’ve featured so many weddings from there, all with their own individual style, and all of them have looked gorgeous!
Hannah & Luke’s big day looks like such a joyful occasion and we love the soft, golden light that seems to flood every image – Karina at Richmond Pictures by Karina Lax has done a fabulous job of capturing every special moment, and there were lots and lots of them! Come and take a look…
I do love a spring wedding full of beautiful blooms, delicate pastel hues and love, and the rustic barn wedding of Karis & Ed certainly ticks all those boxes.
Karis looks absolutely stunning wearing her gorgeous lace Mori Lee gown, Rachel Simpson ‘Mimosa’ shoes and gypsophila flower crown as do her Bridesmaids in their mint green one shoulder gowns from H&M.
The backdrop for this wonderful wedding is the stunning Upwaltham Barns in West Sussex. Exposed brick and beams wrapped in fairy lights and tables adorned with hessian runners, personalised bunting and delicious cupcakes.
It really is a beaut of a day captured wonderfully by Natalie J Weddings.
If you like your weddings pink, girly and sparkly then you are going to LOVE Hannah and Jamie’s outdoor wedding at The Barnyard in Kent’s countryside.
There are wonderful milk churns full of flowers as table centrepieces next to fabulous gold glitter table numbers and the cake….. Well. I simple adore the cake. Baked by a talented friend and wonderfully displayed in front of fairy lights creating a beautiful focal point and giving it that extra wow factor.
Which leads me perfectly onto Hannah’s show stopping lace Maggie Sottero Bronwyn gown with gorgeous key hole back. It’s utterly dreamy and she looks SO stunning in it, as do her bridesmaids in their handmade slinky blush pink silk gowns. But not to be totally out shone by the ladies, Groom Jamie opted for a funky peacock feather print lining in his dapper Ted Baker morning suit from Moss Bros which I have to say is totally fun.
A truly cute couple, enjoying every bit of their day amongst the vineyards, even with the treat of rain.
