A naked wedding cake is a stylish choice that would suit any theme or colour scheme. Simple and understated, there are literally thousands of ways to decorate your naked wedding cake so you can truly make the design your own.
This boho wedding – with macrame decor, a woodland ceremony and bright blooms – has me beaming from ear to ear. Not only because every inch of the day is utterly beautiful, but also because there are so many special touches: a proud dad-daughter moment walking down the aisle; the bride dancing to Eric Clapton’s Wonderful Tonight with her 87 year old grandad; a ring box made from the wood of the bride’s grandfather’s apple tree; and 30 sleeping bags, sourced by the mother of the bride, being donated to homeless shelters once the wedding celebrations were over. Little wonder Emma from Freckle Photography describes the couple as two of the nicest people she’s ever met. This is one utterly gorgeous wedding which will warm your heart whilst also leaving you dreaming of your own woodland wonderland.
Today’s wedding is a cacophony of deep and rich autumnal colours – and we absolutely love it. The aisle, made from Persian rugs and leaves, has to be one of the best wedding walkways I’ve ever seen, whilst the open side of the barn creates an amazing indoor-outdoor feel. Utterly gorgeous. Throw into the mix vegetarian street food, a naked Waitrose-bought wedding cake, a bead embellished Needle & Thread dress and a surprise mariachi band – oh, and a couple of pugs! – for a knockout set of nuptials. Enjoy.
Ok, let’s face it when your wedding venue is Soho Farmhouse you have already racked up some serious awesome points. Mix in an insanely beautiful, vintage style dress by Jesus Peiro from Morgan Davies Bridal, a dapper Groom in not one but two epic suits from Beggars Run, stunning bell sleeve Bridesmaid dresses, Tambourine wedding favours personalised with hand Calligraphy, obvs, and walk in to your wedding reception to ‘Return of the Mac’! We’re all over it. All, over, it!
Soho Farmhouse manages its internal catering, planning and floral design with a creative flair that I suppose you should expect from Oxfordshire’s exclusive resort, however, it delivers above and beyond and each respective area should be celebrated for that.
Delighted Lee Robbins from deliciously cool Robbins Photographic shared this magic with us and we get to share it with you.
