We have a very special wedding for you this afternoon. It’s the beautiful wedding of our very own Alice to her beau Ben at Nancarrow Farm. It’s full of emotion and wonderful captures by Ross Talling. Not to mention Alice’s bespoke bridal gown of dreams made by her dress designer sister, Beyond Bridal.
Barn wedding venues are the hidden gems of the wedding venue world. Sometimes proudly placed on Google, sometimes tucked away where only those in the know can find them. And there are some STUNNING barn wedding venues in the UK. Being the venue geeks that we are, we have done all the leg work for you and have listed over 30 of the most magical barn wedding venues in the land via The List (our carefully curated wedding directory). Best of all, with most listings featuring imagery from our real weddings, you will get a true feel for the venue as a wedding space before narrowing down. That’s not all, to make it even easier you can also filter by location, capacity and facilities.
Are you still debating over whether a barn wedding venue is the right choice for your day? If so, let us give you a rundown of why these characterful buildings make the perfect place for both whispering vows and roaring parties.
With romantic pastel blooms, a stunning bespoke Jane Bourvis gown and adorable flower girls in white dresses, this Nancarrow Farm wedding is going to be right up your street. Amy and Luke fell for Nancarrow immediately, it’s rustic decor and incredibly secluded location won them over straight away. That was even before they’d tried the food, which was the cherry on top of a beautifully iced cake.
Images come from the wonderful Ross Talling who shoots weddings frequently at Nancarrow so really knows how to capture those beautiful spaces. Enjoy this one loves! It’s just brimming with gorgeous details…
Nancarrow Farm is one of our favourite ever wedding venues, in fact, our very own Marketing Manager Alice got married there a month ago! Don’t worry, we’ll be sharing her photographs very soon. Today we have the beautiful Hannah and Luke’s wedding, with a rustic luxe theme – black tie, twinkling lights and elegant fashion, with a dash of natural wood, and lots of foliage thrown in for good measure.
The spaces at Nancarrow are so versatile, if you love it as much as we do, have a look at these Nancarrow weddings featured on RMW. I’ll pass you over to Hannah to tell you all about her big day…
Line and Adam’s wedding is so laid back you can’t help but feel relaxed looking at the images from Dale Weeks. The pair chose the wonderful RMW recommended Nancarrow Farm as their venue and it’s gorgeous barn spaces, incredible home grown food and general lovely vibe was the perfect place for these lovebirds. (You can see more Nancarrow weddings here).
Line loves to knit (she runs a Nordic knitting blog) and Adam is a tree surgeon. And if you were to imagine a wedding that combined a love of knitting, with a love of trees, this is exactly how it would look…! We adore weddings like this, full of personality and fun and totally representative of the couple.
Well there’s one thing this wedding is not and that’s dull like the current British weather, so if you’re in desperate need of a break from the grey skies, and April showers this beautiful bold pink wedding will most certainly brighten your day.
Loulabel’s coral florals bring the wow factor, as does the DIY Liberty print bunting decorating the rustic barn at Nancarrow Farm, and just wait until you see Bride Lauren’s one shoulder Anna Campbell gown from Coco & Kate.
This is the first of three DIY wedding flower tutorials we’ll be bringing you over the coming weeks. These beautiful and striking floral arrangements for chair backs truly elevate a wedding aisle or reception and couldn’t be simpler to create.
The lovely Emily and Lucy at 3acre Blooms will take you through each step, with lots of helpful images from Ross Talling. If you have any questions or would like some more guidance, do leave a comment under the post and we’ll help! See here for more floral DIY projects or visit The List to call in the professionals like the 3acre Blooms girls. They make it look easy, but we’d recommend a couple of trial runs before the big day 🙂
Enjoy creating some of your own wedding flower decor! And if you’re giving this a go please do share on Instagram so we can see your creations!
Samuel Docker Photography really does capture weddings to perfection, and this rustic barn wedding at Nancarrow Farm in Cornwall is no exception. From the 7am early morning run with the adorable couple to the late night sparkler exit and everything in-between, no moment or detail goes un captured. It’s just mind blowing photography and emotion filled pictures.
Obviously it helps that the couple, their guests and the venue, decor and florals on display are utterly immense. Bride Katie’s Catherine Deane gown in particular is divine and suits her down to the ground, despite initially dreading the ‘wedding dress’ shopping experience. The colour scheme is both classic and contemporary with a mixture of greys, white & green, and everything just fuses together beautifully. Some serious wedding goals here folks.
