Bride with Short Hair for a Contemporary Wedding in the Netherlands

BUDGET £25 – 27.5K

You’ll be forgiven for thinking this gorgeous bride with short hair and her dapper groom are models because they are that ruddy stylish. Their wedding decor and details are equally cool, using acrylic and minimalist fonts to make contemporary wedding signs, as well as, artisan floral arrangements including muted roses, orchids and dried palm leaves. We haven’t even mentioned the black-tie attire yet! Need I go on? Enjoy!

Lotte & Thomas

Lotte and Thomas’ wedding is the sweetest thing. It’s home spun, it’s intimate and it is just filled with feel-good moments, which is exactly how a wedding should be as far as I’m concerned. Lotte and Thomas worked really hard to keep things on budget, but still have a really fun and memorable day, sourcing lots of decor online and crafting things themselves. Their biggest treat was flying out RMW recommended UK based photographer Neil Jackson to Holland to take their photographs, but as we always say – this is the place to spend the money – your photographs will provide a lifetime of memories, as you’ll see from this beautiful set…

Maria & Martin by Green Antlers Photography Pin Image

Maria & Martin

The whole point of your wedding day is to celebrate YOUR love as a couple. So that means doing exactly what makes you happy and represents the pair of you. For Maria and Martin, that meant finding a rural campsite they could hire out for their family and close friends, and holding an intimate ceremony where everyone shared stories of the couple to one another, followed by an outdoor feast under bunting and festoon lights. The result, as you’d imagine is totally idyllic and I’m longing for more people to have such a simple, paired back wedding day. Have I set the scene? Are you ready to enjoy? I thought so! Then let’s get started…

Ilina & James

Have you ever seen a more gorgeous ball of white perfection than Ilina’s hydrangea & peony bouquet? (insert multiple heart eye emoji’s here)

Thanks to a serendipitous meeting in Chicago, James born in England (who grew up in Scotland) meet Ilina from Russia (who grew up in the United States) and had a fun, dynamic and multi lingual wedding with guests travelling from all over the world to celebrate with them in Amsterdam where they now live.

The whole dutch wedding is SO unbelievably stylish. I simply adore the contemporary De Kas (‘greenhouse’) venue, full of light and space, making such a modern backdrop for this cutting edge, nature-meets-urban wedding.

With tartan kilts and a stunning lace Pronovias gown, I think I could quite happily get lost in this botanical beauty of a wedding captured beautifully by On a Hazy Morning for hours.
