Alex & Ian

There is one thing this gorgeous wedding by the sea has, and that’s an abundance of pretty. Whether it be wild country blooms, boho dresses, rustic crates or vintage glamour it all looks amazing, and you’re going to LOVE it.

Lets start with Alex’s Rembo Styling gown. The delicate lace details are exquisite and represent her free spirited nature perfectly. I love the portraits captured by Matt Ethan of her and Ian frolicking in the surf on the beach. Then there’s her gorgeous bridesmaids in pastel pink Phase Eight Dresses. And how can I forget dapper suits tailored by Ian’s father.

Newton Hall in Northumberland really does have it all. Shall we take a look? Best to get those pinning fingers at the ready.

Susie & Andy

Susie is obviously a trend setter as her gorgeous palette of blush pink & blue are now this years Pantone colour(s) of the year, and what a gorgeous combination they are too. So delicate, so feminine and absolutely the perfect pastel hues for their vintage, shabby chic inspired day at the fabulous Newton Hall.

She looks so classically beautiful and elegant in her Morilee Blu collection gown with long tousled locks and dreamy pink rose and gypsophila bouquet. Her gorgeous Bridesmaids and Flowers girls look utterly adorable by her side too. And how can I forget her Groom in his sharp Hugo Boss suit. Such a stylish, well dressed wedding party.

Susie has a wealth of advise and handy tips about sourcing local suppliers, and if you’re looking for fabulous suppliers in your region why not try our hand picked wedding supplier directory, The Love Lust List, where you can find awesome suppliers such as photographer Sarah-Jane Ethan Photography who has captured all the love, all the details and all the pretty perfectly at this glorious wedding.

Charlotte & Kevin

This is one of those really pretty weddings, that manages to be elegant and rustic at the same time – which is actually not that easy if you think about it. But Charlotte & Kevin knew that their venue Newton Hall, was the perfect place to combine those two things.

We’re swooning over the pastel flowers, which seem to be tumbling over every surface imaginable, the bone china tea cups, the jam jar cocktails, the Dessy Bridesmaids dresses in sorbet shades, and Charlotte’s subtle bronze lined gown, Penelope by Watters, which is fabulous.

The perfect gown for swooshing on the beach in, which is exactly what she did. And the light in those beach portrait images by Sarah Jane Ethan? It’s just beautiful.

Zoe & Mark

With Christmas so very nearly here now, we thought we’d share a lovely festive wedding with you all, to get you in the mood for celebrations. Zoe and Mark had been together for 12 years before they got married, which may be partly why they planned such a fabulous wedding in just 7 months – they knew what they wanted, a Christmas wedding filled with countryside accents, lots of tweed, Emma Bridgewater china and a Land Rover. And that’s exactly what they created!

Winter Brides are so lucky with the fabulous coats and jackets they can wear, the fit of Zoe’s cropped tweed jacket by Walker Slater is just perfect. (If you’re looking for Winter Cover ups, make sure you check out this post from earlier on in the week). But first, lets cosy up with a hot chocolate and this beautiful wedding…

Anna & Andy

If you like your weddings full of pretty pink and blush details then you’re going to love Anna & Andy’s big day from the romantic Newton Hall. We’re loving the aisle lined with lanterns and petals and of course the giant A&A lights from Coco Luminaire.

Anna looks breathtaking in one of Rock My Wedding’s favourite designers, Ian Stuart. Her gown is a gorgeous honey colour, which compliments the blush tones used in the decor perfectly and lends a slightly vintage feel to the day, which is very much in keeping with the venue.

Marianne & Neil

I feel I have to warn you in advance, that this morning’s wedding contains the prettiest, pinkest rose bouquet that I have ever seen. There is also the most exquisite Jenny Packham dress, Jimmy Choo shoes and the sweetest flower girls I’ve seen. Get your pinning fingers at the ready folks.

There are balloons and cupcakes, dessert tables and gypsophila, men in dashing blue suits and beautiful beachy portrait shots. I am in love.

I think Marianne sums it up best when she says that she didn’t have a theme per se just that everything ended up being ‘pretty’ and it is. Gloriously, wholeheartedly and unashamedly pretty.
