If you like blush weddings, then we know you will love this Didsbury House Hotel celebration. I don’t think we need to point out what the colour theme was for the day, but just in case you missed it…pink! From the wedding stationery to the flower arch above the door that guests were greeted with as they arrived, blush tones littered the venue! The bride looked beautiful in a Halfpenny London – one of our handpicked suppliers – wedding dress with lace detail teamed with a fun crown and flanked by her blush bridesmaids who wore mid-length dresses. Later in the evening the bridal party all donned personalised coverups with the bride choosing a white embellished jacket. Every detail had really been carefully considered, from the crockery to the eco-friendly wedding confetti from Shropshire Petals – another of our recommended suppliers – even the bride’s socks matched the colour scheme with little gold stars!
The tones and prints at this industrial inspiration by Esme Whiteside Photography and Sam Williams Flowers are amazing, including tropical blush blooms and leopard print bridesmaid dresses, as well as smoke bombs, and complementing cakes and stationery. If you’re looking for style and substance then you’ve come to the right place.
Today’s Dorfold Hall wedding is pretty as a picture; with an immense floral moon gate ceremony backdrop and impressive acrylic and floral hoop centrepieces in the reception. All of these fabulous details pay homage to the grooms drumming skills, with the favours and stationery honouring his Italian heritage. Such lovely ways to make a day personal. Adding to the cute factor were the bride and grooms children in grey tulle dresses, reminiscent of mummy’s froufrou bridal skirt.
Relaxed celebration meets glamorous party for this DIY wedding with brown bridesmaid dresses and a bespoke bridal dress. Rachel and Nathan’s big day was on December 28th, how else to perfectly round off the year! Set in their home town of Liverpool they tied the knot at St George’s Hall, before travelling in style in a friends personalised Mini to their a warehouse reception celebration. Complete with espresso martini cocktails, an epic pampas grass floral installation, and an asian inspired buffet meal. So much of this party filled day was created by the bride and their friends and family including the amazing stationary, table plan and bouquets. A great example of a DIY wedding filled with genuine love and character and all captured by Luis Calow.
