Fiona and Josh’s glorious big day at Euridge Manor is proof you should always chat through ideas with your venue on how to have your day your way. The happy couple were the first to marry under the archway of the castle in a beautifully relaxed and informal outdoor ceremony. There were sparklers, fire pits, canine ring bearers, garden games and lots of homemade signage. Let’s take a peek and brighten up our Mondays!
An Ecologist want’s to get married where? Outside of course! Zoe, our outdoor loving, Ecologist Bride, had always dreamed of getting married outside, surrounded by nature in all its glory.
Ever After, The Dartmoor Wedding Venue, Devon was to become the perfect venue! With its stunning Orchard for a Humanist Ceremony, beautiful buildings for a wet weather plan and the most helpful staff and owners.
As perfect as this wedding looks and was, the road leading up to it was rather bumpy. First losing their original florist, then six weeks before the big day they lost their photographer! GASP!!!! Can you imagine? They did strike gold though when by chance Lucy Turnbull was available to step in and couldn’t have captured a prettier day.
There are some brave colours popping out in this Tropical wedding that work so well with the couples theme. Reds, burnt oranges and deep rich purples are pure joy.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that can offer you a truly authentic festival experience, The Wyldes is the place for you. Nestled in the heart of the North Cornish countryside with acres of farmland for camping, beautiful tree copses perfect for woodland ceremonies and various stages (imagine marrying on the main stage!) – all ready and waiting for you to take over with your friends and family. Hosting your own wedfest has never been easier!
And to help get your creative juices flowing, stylist Lucy and her fantastic team have put together a free spirited, rock’n’roll inspired editorial. If a wedding filled with live music and partying until dawn sound like your idea of heaven, then this is the one for you…
Getting married outdoors in the UK is always a gamble as our weather is just so unpredictable, but Katie and Ben hit the jackpot with their glorious big day. The stretch tents they opted for just cry out for gorgeous weather and the sun shone down on the lucky couple all day long! What with the weather, and their Italian antipasti sharing platters, you’d be forgiven for thinking this wedding was on the Med.
Images come from the lovely Ania Ames, who has captured every moment beautifully. I particularly love the images of the girls outside the black and white rose covered cottage, it just looks idyllic, as does the rest of the day for that matter…
Holy moly guys, this wedding is something special. Extraordinary pretty boho vibes with white details, enriched by rustic deep, velvety, vintage reds, tangy orange and forest greens. Serious colour palette goals.
West Sussex looks unrecognisable and the couple’s decor efforts have truly made their venue, The Wild Garden at Hyde Estate into their own personal paradise.
Lauren the Bride confesses she had a ‘wedding Pinterest board’ for some years before the engagement and we applaud her for absolutely smashing her vision out of the park.
Props go to this couples well sourced fine art wedding photographer, Louise Scott, who has captured and created some really wonderful imagery of the day.
This wedding demands to be pinned so get ready!…
Sophie & Fred’s outdoor wedding in Scotland combines lots of my favourite things – a rich burgundy and pink colour scheme, dark wood details and lots of foliage. It’s a stylish and beautifully styled wedding, but with no pretence or showiness, which gives all the right kind of vibes for a wedding day. There are little ones running around, dogs chilling under tables and pipers playing bagpipes (this is a Scottish wedding after all).
Caro Weiss was there to capture everything as it unfolded and as always, her work is natural, thoughtful and a truly special set of images for Sophie and Fred to remember their day by.
Look! Sometimes we do get gorgeous sunny days in the UK!!! Warm and lovely enough to hold a glorious outdoor wedding like Grace and Tom’s. I can’t think of a more deserving couple to hit the jackpot with the weather either, this pair had put their hearts and souls into their wedding day and I’m so pleased the sun shone down for them. It’s a riot of colour from start to finish and won’t fail to put a smile on your face, I’m sure of it!
Images come from Story + Colour, whose name has never felt more apt! The photographs are a beautiful keepsake of what was clearly a wonderful wedding – with story and colour literally running through every one! Enjoy this wedding, it’s a complete explosion of joy…
One is a Manager for Warehouse, and the other a Creative Director for a cycling magazine, so you just know this wedding is going to be cool and it doesn’t disappoint.
This cute couple hired a wonderful house in the countryside, bought sandwiches and cakes from M&S, played badminton and croquet had a Garden Party with their closest friends and family. The decor, with its pops of colour, is a perfect compliment to the lush green of the countryside. Did someone say Garden Goals? We did!
Bride Laleh is wearing a Tatyana Merenyuk dress with gold shoes and jewellery kept very simple and is effortlessly stylish.
Woodland weddings are always a risk in the UK, but when the weather plays ball (and to be honest, even when it doesn’t) they are truly magical. There’s something so spiritual and earthy about getting married amongst ancient trees and wild animals. It can, however be a logistical nightmare. That’s where Woodland Weddings come in. A woodland venue that has it all, onsite for you, ready to go. And yet weddings from there always feel completely different as the space is prime for personalisation.
Claire and Tom’s rustic, home spun wedding is just utterly beautiful. The girls all look stunning, like woodland fairies carrying freshly picked blooms and the decor feels striking but simple and very welcoming. Images come from the fabulous Chris Barber whose fun style is always a winner when it comes to capturing a wedding day.
