A super relaxed wedding in Jersey for this travel-loving couple, with a globe guest book and a map seating chart! Wanting the feel of an intimate elopement, this couple chose to tie the knot in a remote coastal location in Jersey, made even more special by the fact it was the grooms childhood home! Wanting to make sure the decor was recycled and sustainable, so focused on making a lot of the pieces themselves, such as the ceremony arch, the place names and growing their own flowers whilst also making hundreds out of paper! There was also a very special guest, their beloved pet dog, who had a key role in the ceremony as the ring bearer!
BUDGET £40 – 50K
The lovely Lyndsey Anne Photography was inspired by the beautiful Scottish highlands natural tones, beautiful scenery and tranquility and fused all this together to plan and photograph a gorgeous highland bride elopement shoot.
The brides needle and thread floral gown, oversized bouquet and flower crown look incredible against the woodland setting, and the dappled light breaking through the trees looks magical. This low key inspiration really does prove that sometimes less really is more.
If you follow our instagram account you’ll have noticed we shared a little preview of this totally gorgeous wedding and couple. The golden hour portraits by Fiona Clair have had us swooning for days and we just couldn’t contain our excitement any longer.
The whole Cape Town wedding is chic, elegant and brimming with inspiration. The crisp white tablescape with greenery and copper accents looks delicious in the dappled sunlight by day, and fairy lights by night. As do the bridal party outfits, in dresses to die for and bouquets of beauty.
Be warned, you may want to get your pinning fingers at the ready. Enjoy.
The light captured by Fiona Clair Photography at this destination wedding is so magical you can feel the warmth radiating from the page.
Held in the mountains of Greyton, South Africa, super stylish couple Andrea and Jordan had the sweetest outdoor ceremony at The Oaks Estate. The aisle and altar style is utterly immense, with simple yet elegant white and green florals and relaxed intimate vibes.
The beautiful florals continue in the reception with an epic greenery installation and ambient lighting. Plus have you seen bride Andrea’s protea bouquet yet? It’s the stuff of dreams.
Now enough of my waffling, I’m sure you’re dying to get stuck in now. Enjoy lovely ones, it’s a goodie.
Well, where to start with this beautiful evergreen day. The white florals are epic, the ceremony and reception set ups A.M.A.zing, and bride and groom Cassie and Tom are the absolute sweetest. Not to mention super stylish in their lace Justin Alexander bridal gown and navy check Hugo Boss suit.
They incorporated many personal, and DIY details into their outdoor ceremony and barn reception, including candle and honey favours, polaroid picture name tags, as well as giant balloons, which not only decorated the barn but also made excellent props for the bridesmaid portraits.
The wonderful Olegs Samsonovs’s Photography is vibrant, heartfelt and full of emotion. I never wanted to be in a bridesmaid selfie picture more. So sit back, relax and enjoy.
We’ve gone from delicate, pastel hued inspiration of yesterday afternoons feature, to rich, sumptuous jewel tones of this beautifully planned & styled wedding by wedding directory member, Rachel Rose Weddings. (Nobody can say we don’t like variety) and what a gorgeous Spanish destination wedding it is.
Taking place at Rachel’s newest wedding venue Cortijo Rosa Blanca in the heart of the Andalucian countryside, Southern Spain, and all looking absolutely delicious decked out in vibrant florals and vintage decor.
Oh the power of the internet. Megan and Zack are based in the US but found gorgeous Sarah Jane Ethan via a google search – luckily for them, she’s not only lovely, but rather fabulous with a camera too. As these stunning photographs show. If you’re eloping, incredible photos are essential* as you’ll want to show everybody back home what a wonderful time you had.
Megan looks utterly radiant in these images and just so, so happy. The whole wedding looked relaxed, joyful and there’s a sense of contentment just screaming from every single photo. Maybe it’s being on holiday? Maybe it’s because it’s a wedding? Maybe it’s the limoncello? All I know, is that I want some.
*to be honest incredible wedding photographs are always essential, whether you’re eloping or not. PLEASE make sure you book someone who will create these for you…
These dreamy images come from the lovely Victoria Lamburn, whose fine art style we adore. Firstly because her work is just so beautiful – but also because she likes to keep things real. This shoot is really simple and just focuses on a few key elements, as Victoria acknowledges that sometimes seeing a styled shoot on a blog or in a magazine can be completely overwhelming. Your styling doesn’t have to be over done – just chose which elements are important to you.
What makes this shoot even more impressive is that Vicky actually did this just two weeks after breaking her arm! That’s dedication to the cause! If you book her for your own wedding day then you certainly won’t have to worry about flakiness 😉 Nor will you have to worry about not ending up with a stunning set of images, as her work shows…
