The fabulous Paloma Cruz Eventos has done it again. She’s taken the brief from this water sport loving duo, and planned and styled them a picturesque coastal, beach wedding, complete with surf board table plan and signs.
When Paloma Cruz sends us weddings a ripple of anticipation and excitement spreads around RMW HQ – we love her style and she always has THE best weddings. So you can imagine our faces when Paloma mentioned she was sending over the wedding of her very own SISTER. I know! The pressure!!! The excitement! Well we couldn’t wait to see the images and trust me when I say, you will not be disappointed. Pablo Laguia has captured the spirit of the day to perfection too. This wedding is truly unique – full of imagination, heart and magic. So without further ado, let’s head to Barcelona and get the party started…
Today’s wedding is simply magical from start to finish. Set in the beautiful grounds of Jardins de Abril, Alicante with a literary theme for the book loving couple, the day was a celebration of the whole family, not just our gorgeous Maria José & Adrian.
Weddings from Paloma Cruz Eventos are always so thoughtful – every single detail has been well considered, adding something to the overall vision of the day, which results in styling that is completely unique. Adding hanging florals to the already stunning bower of trees over the ceremony area is just genius. The library card table plan is really clever too and just wait until you see the flowers. Such a dreamy colour palette. We’re really excited to have Paloma on our Love Lust List, if you’re getting married in Spain do get in touch if you like what she does.
And just as you think this wedding couldn’t get any better – the images from Pablo Laguia just bring a whole other level of creativeness to proceedings. Each frame has been executed perfectly, with a real understanding of this lovely family and what their wedding day was all about…
Whenever we receive a real wedding submission from Spain, I get really excited. They have a thriving and ridiculously stylish Wedding Industry. And someone at the forefront of that is the amazing Paloma Cruz. Everything she works on is beautiful and this morning’s wedding is no exception.
There are elegantly dressed long tables, a colour palette that reflects the sand and sea, a really cool seating area and a canopy of fairy lights. Then there’s Irene’s stunning dress with a full skirt and some gorgeous embroidery detailing. This wedding is a real treat from start to finish and every magical moment has been captured by Oscar Guillen.
This Spanish destination wedding has my heart racing. Styled to perfection by Paloma Cruz Eventos and captured by Serafin Castillo, it has one of the most beautiful outdoor receptions I have even seen with hundreds of twinkling fairy lights creating what I bet was a truly magical ambience.
Also pretty epic is the IX century Santa Barbara’s Castle where Victoria & Iain held there ceremony. Think rustic ruins enhanced with a truly elegant white floral arch and aisle flowers.
Seriously folks this is not one to be missed.
This inspiration shoot from Paloma Cruz is just beautiful – we just love her work. Having featured another shoot from her earlier in the year, which was more rustic and bohemian (see here if you missed it) it’s fabulous to see something different this time – elegant, a bit more classical in style and very sophisticated, but still full of thoughtful details and the most fabulous beauty and fashion.
The model’s structured curls and dewy complexion are the perfect Bridal look and that golden hued gown from Cayetana Ferrer is just breathtaking – combined with the gold leaf crown, the model looks very Grecian.
When we feature gorgeous outdoor inspiration shoots like this one it always makes me wish that the weather in the UK was a little more reliable. As I look out of the window now I’m surrounded by mist, I can barely make out the buildings across the road. It’s the END OF MAY people – what is going on?!
There are some lovely ideas on display here – the whole table set up is just PERFECT, I mean if you can’t dine underneath a flower canopy on your wedding day, when can you?! I love the little love tipi too – such a cute hide away and I can’t think of a more romantic way to sleep under the stars on your wedding night.
Did I mention the bold lip yet?! It’s such a dramatic look, but if you get the right shade for your colouring – it’s just stunning.
