Temperatures are set to soar this weekend and so will your hearts at the sight of this PapaKata Sperry tent wedding bursting with sentiment. The couple says I do in the brides family church where she and her son were Christened and then head to her parent’s home where she grew up for a wedding reception of dreams at the bottom of their garden. Add some foliage wedding decor, sloe gin favours and a Suzanne Neville bridal gown and you’re in wedding heaven.
If you’re thinking of having a Sperry Tent or Teepee wedding then you’ve come to the right place as PapaKåta show you how to do it in style at their glorious Spring Open Weekend 2019. Heavily featuring the Pantone colour of the year ‘Living Coral’ and giving you all the ideas to host your own joyful Spring wedding.
I don’t think there’s a bride that sums up the ‘boho luxe’ style more than gorgeous Hayley. She wears The Row, which instantly makes her a total goddess, and accessorised with a foliage crown and celestial Zoe & Morgan jewellery she ticks all the cool boxes too. This wedding is just so full of love and fun, which stems from the fact that Hayley and Luke held their reception at her grandparents home, in a PapaKata tipi.
Look out for the gin bar, the attention to detail is amazing and it looks like guests have thoroughly enjoyed it! Images come from the amazing Carla Blain whose dreamy, editorial style is just heavenly.
When it comes to marquee and tent weddings, PapaKata’s wealth of knowledge and experience is second to none. If you’re certain that you’d like a marquee or a tent, but aren’t sure whether to opt for a gorgeous airy Sperry Tent, or a cosy, atmospheric Teepee, then you definitely need to read on. We’re sharing the images from PapaKata’s recent Spring open day so you can see how different these structures can look and how beautifully they can be styled…
Proving that rain most definitely doesn’t spoil a wedding day, we bring you the lovely Hollie and Grant. This pair had charcoal grey skies and torrential downpours to contend with, but they had massive smiles on their faces for the whole day. Because ultimately – it’s just the weather and there’s nothing you can do about it. Luckily they also had amazing suppliers on hand to make sure their wedding went without a hitch, despite having to opt for plan B for the ceremony.
Hollie’s wedding dress by Gemma Sargent will stop you in your tracks, the level of detail is just astonishing and I can’t stop looking at it! Such a special piece and one that I’m sure she’ll treasure forever.
For the Scottish brides to be reading this, team RMW and The Wedding Shop will be in Edinburgh on 17th May for a wedding planning event at the Dundas Street showroom – tickets are free and we’d LOVE to see you there! You just need to register here, after enjoying this gorgeous wedding of course!
There is something pretty awesome about bringing the venue to your house right? PapaKåta has over 10 years of experience in bespoke event Teepees and Sperry Tents. They know just how to deliver an epic event and as RMW favourites are members of The List, our exclusive handpicked directory. Other members featured in this gorgeous wedding are Opaline Films and Tailored Entertainment.
When the duo behind Jolly Awesome get married, you just know it’s going to be a day of pure fun. Matt and Katie clearly have creativity running through their veins and I’ve loved pouring over the details of their big day. Think palm prints, neon signs and bright pink peonies. With some extra special treats for people – if only every wedding guest in the world could receive one of Matt’s illustrations as a favour, there would be grins all round!
Images come from the wonderful Amy B, whose natural and joyful style is perfect for this fabulous wedding day and I can 100% vouch for Amy’s talents as she shot my cousins wedding day too 🙂 Enjoy this colourful and stylish day – I have a feeling you’re going to love it!
We’re bringing you the prettiest wedding this morning, with an elegant and minimal ceremony at Compton Verney, followed by a bright and colourful reception in one of PapaKata’s infamous Sperry Tents. This means the best of both worlds – classic white wedding meets big party in a field. Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it?! It’s YOUR wedding day after all.
Lovely Lissy found their photographer, Emma Pilkington, right here on RMW, which always makes us happy. Talking of which, the bridesmaids blue tulle skirts are also bound to put a smile on your face, the girls all look gorgeous!
Prepare to feel all fuzzy inside as Bride and Groom Beth and Paul have a wonderful celebration at Angrove Park in Great Ayron in a PapaKåta tipi. The site looks amazing full of rustic decor and details. My favourite being the boat of booze and the mini wheel barrow table plan.
Everybody looks a vision in lace and tweed, perfect for the outdoor country vibes and the golden hour portrait pictures by Matt Penberthy are off the chart adorable. With SO many more personal touches and fun filled moments to swoon over, you’re going to enjoy this lovely ones.
