Up in the Spanish mountains, we’re in Barcelona wedding venue heaven at aptly named new venue, This Must Be The Place. Think quaint courtyards, rustic charm, and an abundance of personality and potential. Kelsie Low Photography attended the Wild Ones Community workshop where they’ve styled the space with outdoor tablescapes and floral installations, plus enlisted the help of gorgeous models/couple The Bad Villians to show you how you too can enjoy your day there. Anybody else totally in love and feeling all those Spanish vibes? Glad it’s not just me then!
When Kesri and Leesha approached us back in May 2019 to feature their gorgeous Black Brides Matter inspiration shoot we were absolutely over the moon and couldn’t wait to support them. We strive to share as many diverse weddings as we possibly can on Rock My Wedding and so the shoot at The Barn At Drovers was another way for us to do that and spread the message the ladies so eloquently make about the industry needing to better represent minorities. In their words “We cannot dream of a gorgeous wedding no matter the theme, boho/contemporary/elegant/wild/outdoor/romantic wedding if we cannot see ourselves reflected in them.”
We know that their vision is going to have a huge impact on so many people’s wedding planning journeys. Not only are they delivering this powerful message they have done a sterling job at showing us some super sexy inspiration too. WOW ladies, just wow.
Hold onto your hats as we’re whisking you away from all this rain and reminding you of sunnier days at this impressive Galician glasshouse house wedding venue with botanical plants, wicker furniture and neon signs. Plus a couple so stylish, you’ll be rethinking your wedding attire. Enjoy.
Firstly, that bouquet, secondly, that doughnut wall, and thirdly THIS boho wedding! I don’t know about you, but I’ve fallen hard for the florals and relaxed vibes. Plus, is that an umbrella I spy? You’d never know there was rain judging by the smiles and captures and that’s exactly how it should be, but if you’re fretting about things going wrong, have a listen to our latest Podcast.
If I were getting married in the summer, or at any time in the foreseeable future for that matter, THIS is how I’d be doing the wedding flowers for the tables. It’s super easy (get your bridesmaids involved and you’ll have those tables decorated in no time), effective and best of all, it won’t break the bank. And it looks hella romantic. Here’s how you can create your own DIY wedding centerpiece.
This quite aptly titled ‘under a floral spell‘ fairytale wedding inspiration, with its romantic blush and burgundy colour scheme, dreamy tablescape, and beautiful floral arch is nothing short of spectacular. Instantly transporting you into a place of love and wonderment. And instantly filling your hearts and Pinterest board with amazing ideas.
Weddings like this should come with a warning of ‘G’ for utterly gorgeous. Not only are our newlyweds absolutely stunning, but also every aesthetic detail of their day is divine: from the venue to the flowers to the semi-naked wedding cake to the peg board table plan. Shall I go on swooning? This celebration is filled with emotion and happiness – and if it doesn’t have you reaching for a hanky it will definitely have you drooling over the sweet bar. Mm mmm!
Garthmyl Hall’s modern summer house is the perfect venue to showcase this romantic pink and gold wedding inspiration by Hannah of KnockKnockPenny Studio. If you’re having a winter wedding, embracing the season is a great place to start when it comes to styling. But it doesn’t all have to be Christmas trees, crackers and twinkling fairy lights.
This fun and festive shoot from super-creative Charlotte at La Fete, shot at the dreamy Penton Park, shows that seasonal styling can still be fresh and unique. From the mitten shaped place-names, to the gingerbread house (!) the whole shoot is just pure joy.
