Worried about rain on your wedding day? Step on over this way, stat. This incredible set of captures by Samuel Docker Photography – a supplier Paige & Ryan found thanks to this RMW real wedding – may, in fact, have you hoping for stormy skies, so incredible are the dramatic shots of this delightful day. Set against a backdrop of stormy skies and rolling Tuscan hills, the bride and groom look like movie stars, and their wedding album could truly be an editorial photoshoot, given what turns out to be amazing light for this spectacular setting. A Rue de Seine wedding dress, sweetheart table and fabulous florals simply serve to ramp up the A-list aesthetic of this intimate wedding. We have a feeling you’re going to want your pinning fingers ready for this one…
Stop what you’re doing and take a breath, for this wedding is going to leave you breathless. Chateau La Durantie in the Dordogne is divine, and our lovely couple certainly make the most of the gorgeous gardens and fairytale castle during their wedding celebrations, with an outdoor ceremony, outdoor seating area and inside-outside marquee. Sandwiched between two stormy days, their wedding celebrations are drenched in sunshine – which explains why the party ends up in the pool! With a pastel macaroon tower, Pronovias dress and hot pink heels to boot (can you spot the little fashionista giving them a try?), this wedding is all things pretty. Enjoy.
Today’s classic country wedding comes from Pimm’s wedding dash winners Jade & Daniel. Who also won an incredible £8,000 towards wedding services from our very own handpicked wedding supplier directory The List. We absolutely love how they chose to spend their winnings. Most noteworthy was choosing The Dawdling Duck so they could provide guests with a FREE bar. Absolute genius! So, we feel that Good Friday should be spent swooning over this country wedding.
Need a reason to smile today? (There’s no place for politics on this blog, but you know what we’re talking about.) Dive right into this Norfolk wedding, which is a whole lot of happiness to finish your week off right. Bride and groom, Emily and Adi, do not stop laughing, from the minute they start getting ready (complete with a bunch of bridesmaids pouring prosecco down Emily’s neck!) to the showdown of their first dance. Little wonder, really, when you’re getting wed at a venue as cool as Voewood, and when you look as gorgeous as Emily does in your long-sleeved Ivania Pronovias wedding dress. From the greys and the golds to the dahlias and the dancing, this wedding is everything we love. And we know you will too.
I do like to be beside the seaside, I do love a wedding by the sea! This delightful Devon celebration, at the stunning coastal venue of Tunnels Beaches, has all the ingredients of a great day at the beach, with the added bonus of a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception. Think a cliffside courtyard with gypsophila arch, a BBQ buffet, and a bride playing the frisbee – that’s a first for us! Set against a backdrop of clear blue skies and a private beach, this will have you dreaming of summer days – and reaching for an ice-cream (mint choc chip for me, please!).
If you’re looking for fierce bridal fashion, look no further: this bridal cape veil and lace fishtail dress by Pronovias is perfection. And for bride Claudia, it was clearly meant to be after someone accidentally posted photos of another dress she had chosen on Facebook instead of sending them to her privately. Eek! Which just goes to show that everything happens for a reason, as this gown could not be more suited to Claudia’s own style. In fact, this was not the only mishap our plucky couple encountered in their wedding planning journey, with their original photographer cancelling following a double booking. But again, all worked out for the best when On Love and Photography stepped up to the mark, delivering a catalogue of exquisite captures which we are thrilled to be sharing with you today.
I mean these two – ALL the heart eyes. Sarah looks utterly incredible in her gown (a second-hand Pronovias number don’t you know)! And her savvy shopping meant she could wear a second gown for the evening, because let’s face it, those accessories deserved another dress to adorn. As well as ticking all the sartorial boxes, this pair had, (and this is possibly one of the best ideas I’ve ever seen at a wedding), a DJ battle, complete with ring-entrances, boxing gloves and robes. I know, epic right?
As well as knowing how to save money and throw an incredible party, this duo are awesome at selecting a photographer too. They opted for the amazing Jason Mark Harris, who we are biggggg fans of here at RMW towers. Not only did Jason shoot their day beautifully, but he shot their film too which is just so much fun and absolutely worth a watch on this fine Saturday morning…
Gorgeous Emily and Andrew know each other from school. They both had crushes on each other, but never got together. Luckily modern day technology stepped in and the pair reconnected over Tinder 10 years later! We love a good love story here at RMW, and truly believe that if it’s meant to be, it will be! Which was clearly the case for Emily and Andy. Due to Andy’s military background they married at Sandhurst Military Academy, on a glorious summers day, which meant they could have the open sided marquee wedding they’d dreamed of.
The whole day is beautifully and thoughtfully styled, with the most incredible florals, decor and fashion choices. Enjoy lovely ones!
Capes are fast becoming my favourite bridal accessory. Bride Hollie’s Pronovias ‘Oringo’ lace bridal gown and matching cape in particular literally floored me it’s that stunning. The fabulous Darina Stoda Photography did an amazing job of capturing its true beauty. The way the light catches it in some of the images is breathtaking.
There are many other elements to this Devonshire wedding you’ll be smitten with too. Take the DIY cork table numbers and name place setting holders the happy couple crafted, not to mention the gorgeous greenery and white florals adorning the wedding breakfast, and ceremony altar and aisle.
You’ll probably want to get your pinning fingers ready for this one. I now I will be. Enjoy.
