Als & Harry

I am absolutely, whole-heartedly in love with this wedding. When I was putting the images and text together I was just bursting with excitement at how pretty everything is and how gorgeous the photography by Sara Lincoln is too. Honestly, I really had to stop myself from showing the rest of the team every single image!

This Bridesmaids look is one of my all time favourites EVER, the beauty, the dresses and the accessories are just fabulous. And Als’ bespoke wedding gown is perfection too – a combination of bows and lace and just the right amount of structure. It’s stunning and I’m sure it’s a masterpiece she’ll treasure forever – I’d certainly be wearing it at every possible opportunity if it were mine!

Als & Harry married at a gorgeous rustic estate in Italy, complete with a wall covered in Jasmine – which makes such a beautiful backdrop for the couples portraits. And as photographer Sara points out, gives the Kimye white flower wall a good run for it’s money 😉 This is SUCH a lovely one, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Helena & Simon

We’ve shared some gorgeous weddings with bright colour schemes this week – and this afternoon’s marquee reception follows a similar vein. It’s not often you see a palette of red, white and blue, but it works beautifully. Helena has kept it from looking Wintery or Patriotic by throwing in lots of different shades of red, from soft pinks to corals and using gorgeous blue glass to lift the table settings. The wild, meadow picked blooms also soften everything and the whole effect is just lovely.

There are lots of genius DIY ideas to borrow too, the pin board table plan is very sweet and the photo booth with a hanging ribbon back drop is pretty awesome too! The couple were lucky enough to hold their reception at Simon’s family home, which meant guests could crash after the party in gorgeous bell tents. If you like this wedding, make sure you check out Jess & Sam’s wedding and Kate & Jack’s wedding featured earlier in the week, which had similar laid back festival style vibes. And the relaxed and fun photography comes from Dorset wedding photographer Paul Underhill.

Claire & Joe

Who else fancies dancing under the stars in an old Italian courtyard whilst feasting on Torta Millefoglie? Yep me too!

And this is exactly what Claire and Joe did on their wedding day in Italy. Having originally started planning their nuptials in London they decided that in fact they’d much rather say ‘I do’ in another country altogether, in a chapel with has frescos from the fifteenth century no less!

Claire wore the beautiful Boston frock by Maggie Sottero – a gown perfectly suited to their Tuscan wedding and was accessorised by a bevy of maids in 50s style dresses. La Dolce Vita indeed!

Megan & Ben

This morning’s wedding is glorious! I’ve never seen a bride so euphorically happy as Megan and her joy and excitement just streams out of the screen. I guarantee that you won’t be able to stop yourself smiling as you look through the images of Megan and Ben’s big day.

I am particularly enamoured with Megan’s outfit – her frock ‘Indienne’ by Cymbeline, her beautiful hair vine and her scarlet red lips; it all works so wonderfully well together. Clearly Ben agrees if his smiles are anything to go by. And just look at those gorgeous bridesmaids to boot. Right I’m off to pin!

Whitney & Chris

If you like your weddings colourful, rustic and full of gorgeous blooms, then you are going to LOVE Whitney and Chris’ big day. The sweet couple also have the most romantic engagement story I’ve EVER heard. Honestly, it’s just beautiful it genuinely made me well up! I can’t wait for you to read about it too.

In fact I’m going to pass you straight over to Whitney as she has written nothing short of a dissertation on her big day, so I’d encourage you to get comfy with a cup of tea and just enjoy it! It’s all so lovely…

Stephanie & Rob

Well it’s a happy first for me – a bride and groom bouncing to their hearts’ content on a awesome bouncy castle!

Childhood sweethearts Stephanie and Rob decided to tie the knot at Lillibrooke Manor accompanied by handpicked blooms and mismatched maids in pastel at their very own love festival ‘GoodFest’- how brilliant is that! They continued the music theme throughout their big day with save the dates designed to look like a festival poster, invitations masquerading as festival tickets, through to their table names on EP’s and their seating plan on LPs!

Oh and check out their wedding cake too – absolutely gorgeous!

Natalie & Stephen

Well hello giant coral peonies…

If you’re a regular reader, you’ll know all about our love for peonies, but of late it feels like they’ve all been of the pastel variety, so it’s wonderful to see a gorgeously vibrant one (or two…) Hats off to Bride Natalie’s florists Revival Rooms for creating such stunning floral arrangements.

The peony theme stemmed from Natalie’s wedding dress by Ian Stuart (Vanity Fair), which is just so striking – it’s funny which dress ends up being ‘the one’ as she had pictured herself in a lace-sleeved Princess Kate style number. But we think this dramatic gown is just made for her!

And it always makes us happy to see a Groom sporting a giant single bloom as a button hole.

Charmaine & Ed

You know you’re in for a treat when you get the fabulous husband and wife duo and List members Anna Clarke Photography and Simon Clarke Films capturing your day, and what a wedding it was!

Although our beautiful couple married in Autumn there is a magical Christmas feel to their wedding. It could be Bride Charmaine’s glamorous Justin Alexander wedding dress, fur stole and red lip combo or maybe her Bridesmaids fancy black lace No.1 by Jenny Packham frocks. But I also think the super luxe mercury glass votives with overflowing white blooms, succulents and simple yet stunning gypsophila that looks like snow drops add to the pure magic and sparkle too.

Charmaine & Ed were so super savvy when it came to creating their overall look on a budget. They’ve got a wealth of handy DIY tips, crafts and places to shop so you too can achieve your dream day whilst holding on to more of your hard earned pennies.

Get ready to snuggle up tight as we pop to Scotland this morning to share in the tartan infused, candlelit nuptials of Jen and Bob. In a word, Jen’s Claire Pettibone dress is divine; layers upon layers of embroidered lace which harmonises perfectly with Bob’s kilt – made from the family’s tartan naturally.

There’s some serious transport eye candy for those of you thrilled by anything of the four wheeled variety and take a look at that delicious menu in the slider. Yum! This big day is definitely one for those brides looking for some rustic inspiration so get those pinning fingers ready.
