Beautiful Dewsall Court is one of our favourite wedding venues and while it’s gorgeous all year round, I feel like Autumn is the time it truly comes into its own. The colours of the trees reflecting the tones of the brick, and the stunning Wainhouse barn sparkling with candle and fairy light make it a magical place for a fall wedding.
Rebecca and Will truly transformed the space into a seasonal wonderland, with lots of foliage and natural materials everywhere. The imagery comes from Red On Blonde, who we’ve championed for years, Hannah and Toby are excellent photographers, as well as being super fun and lovely. We also have the gorgeous film from Mrs Mashup for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy this one loves, it’ll make you want to cosy up in front of the fire…
Amazing husband and wife duo Toby and Hannah from Red on Blonde Photography have not only nailed the captures of this tipi wedding, but also the introduction. So much so we couldn’t have put it better ourselves, so over to them…
Red on Blonde Photography: Bride and Groom, Philly and Josh threw the ultimate, super personal, mega-fun tipi wedding, with a tropical twist & an immense party. The ceremony setting was idyllic – in Josh’s Auntie’s field amongst the huge oaks, with giant balloons, guests on wooden benches and pallets creating a stage for the bride & grooms’ hand-penned vows.
The official crew pulled up in a black Land Rover Defender, driven by the MOH and five gold-gowned bridesmaids clambered out the back. Then the bride rolled up in a Citroen DS, looking all grecian-boho, with a crown of green leaves and an elegant, low-backed, lace gown.
The celebrant was their best friend, which added to the personal feel and then the groom’s brother, Rory (lead singer of Infinite Bisous) led everybody in a chorus of ‘All you Need is Love’.
Philly and Josh created a feast of fun for the guests (and our cameras) in and around the tipis. There was a tropical theme, with potted palms, natural wood and splashes of gold decoration (lots of pineapples!) and garden games to keep everybody entertained. Not to mention fish tacos, mac n cheese, signature cocktails, glitter paint, a VW camper van photo booth, a bathtub of beers and a crisp station (with Pickled onion Monster Munch!)
This was one of those weddings that was pure joy to shoot and left us buzzing & we’d love to share it with the RMW readers.
The more weddings I see from The West Mill Derby, the more I fall in love with the place! The exposed brick, the Georgian paned windows and the gorgeous outside courtyard space make every single angle the perfect backdrop to your wedding photographs.
Today we’re sharing Sophie and Sam’s industrial but oh-so-stylish wedding day which is styled to perfection. There’s the perfect amount of sparkle from Sophie’s beaded Eliza Jane Howell gown and an extra addition of cute in the form of their little boy – anyone who is having lots of children at their wedding needs to read about the goodie bags they put together for the littles at this wedding, such lucky children.
The lovely images come from Han and Toby at Red On Blonde, whose weddings are always a pleasure to share…
These two are just a bit gorgeous. Married in their local village church & then congregating in a tipi in the stunning Warwickshire countryside for a massive party.
Undoubtably stealing the show is bride Sarah and her fairytale Mori Lee bridal gown (wow!!!). And how can I forget her fabulous Manolo Blahnik blue shoes. The floral print bridesmaid dresses and the bride & groom’s beautiful baby girl, Autumn also bringing the adorable factor to the rustic proceedings.
With sausages on sticks, three giant French Fancy wedding cakes and Sarah’s peony bouquet of dreams, you’ll be hard pressed not to be beaming from ear to ear whilst viewing this family wedding. Enjoy.
