Tor and Nick’s beautiful, sunshine filled wedding celebrates the British seaside to perfection. With subtle coastal decor references, a marine blue tone used throughout (including the most gorgeous bridesmaids in our favourite Rewritten dresses), and obviously, the glorious weather, which is always guaranteed at the coast, it’s wedding that will put a huge smile on your face.
The florals are simply beautiful, aisles lined with blooms get me every time and the church looks stunning here. Images come from Luis Holden who has captured the whole day with such style and honesty, it’s a joy to look at these images and I just know, you’re going to love this wedding!
The oh so chic Chateau Lartigolle is instantly recognisable with its gorgeous courtyard and arched cellar, and made the ultimate party venue for our stylish bride and groom today.
Their celebrations started on Friday and continued through to Sunday, with nothing being too much trouble for the planning team to ensure Sophie & Alex’s wedding dreams came true. Owner Emma even turned her hand to floristry, making the immense pastel bouquet you see in the opening picture and the gorgeous garland framing the nuptials.
Every capture by Nigel Johh tells the beautiful story of this adorable couples destination wedding. From he golden light, to Bride Sophie’s exquisite lace Caroline Castigliano gown, you are going to be mesmerised.
When Fran and Katie launched their collection for Bridesmaids, I knew they’d take the wedding world by storm. Talented, driven, stylish and just really lovely people, they’ve gone from strength to strength over the years, now dressing bridesmaids across the world in their signature styles. If you’ve yet to discover Rewritten, then you’re in for a treat. Every style is so wearable, flattering and elegant in a contemporary way, and the girls always totally nail the colour options.
Today I’m really excited to share with you gorgeous new style ‘Seville’ – an elegant, floor length gown with cape-like sleeve details that drape to perfection and finish with a bow at the shoulder. The ‘Seville’ comes in the usual Rewritten shades as well as brand new colours Ink and Forest, a dark and delicious navy black hue and a rich and vibrant green…
The lovely Rewritten girls are hosting their first ever sample sale next week! This is an amazing chance to bag some gorgeous bridesmaids dresses for up to 60% off. The sale will run from Thursday 7th September and Friday 8th September from 12pm – 8pm at Fran and Katie’s North London studio. The sale is by appointment only (contact the girls via their website) and remember once they’re gone, they’re gone…these dresses won’t be around for long!
I’ve championed gorgeous bridesmaid’s brand Rewritten since the start, their style led design, in a select range of colours, designed in London and made with the finest crepe which hangs beautifully makes them the perfect choice for discerning, stylish bridesmaids. They are dresses which will be worn again and again, and I’m really excited to share with you lots of gorgeous real bridesmaids wearing Rewritten dresses in the coming months. But for now, here’s the latest Rewritten look book, shot by RMW fave Joanna Bongard at the iconic seaside town of Margate. It’ll make you want to grab your best girls and head to the beach, which is exactly how bridesmaids dress viewing should make you feel 😉
When it comes to finding a wedding dress, the internet can actually make things pretty hard – finding your dream dress then discovering it’s from five seasons ago and is only stocked in New Zealand can be a bit of a bummer. There’s also the fact that your local boutique might not stock any of the designers you love. Well luckily for you, more and more boutiques are starting to shoot Look Books, where they style the dresses they stock in a gorgeous piece of editorial. I’m loving this new trend as it really allows brides to understand the vibe of the boutique, making sure their visit is productive. Love the look book? Then you’ll be likely to find the dress of your dreams at that particular store.
The latest look book from Archive 12 is right up my street, 90s styling + celestial details = bridal perfection. This is what happens when the world of fashion and bridal collide…I like to think of it as a cosmic explosion…
The final stop on our #rewrittenrmwroadtrip takes place this week, on Thursday 25th May at Bridal mecca, Miss Bush. We’re ending things with a bang – there’s a full day of appointments available – this gives you and your bridesmaids the chance to try on gorgeous Rewritten dresses with the boutique all to yourselves. As always, Katie and Fran from Rewritten will be on hand to help you with colour options, sizes and styles, and there’s the chance to win a dress for one of your maids, plus the RMW Book, Your Day Your Way. Everyone will receive a epic goodie bag and the Miss Bush team are putting on all sorts of extra treats…
Just in case you’ve been hiding under a rock for the last few weeks – this May the lovely Rewritten girls are taking their bridesmaids dresses out on the road – hitting Northern Ireland, Scotland, Yorkshire and Surrey to bring a little bit of something different to you and your bridesmaids. These dresses are stylish, beautifully made and most definitely something your girls will want to wear time and time again after the big day.
This is your last chance to grab tickets for the Yorkshire event as tomorrow (18th May), Fran and Katie will be heading to one of our favourite boutiques, Ghost Orchid Bride. This isn’t just the chance to try on lots of lovely gowns, it’s essentially a mini wedding fair with LOTS of incredible treats, prizes and a fabulous goodie bag. (Tickets can be purchased here). Sounds amazing right? Read on for more details and round up your best girls, this is going to be a night to remember…
