French destination weddings will always be in fashion; who wouldn’t want to say ‘I do’ amidst land that oozes love? Amy & Tim’s wedding weekend has us weak at the knees, with every picture perfect detail adding its own je ne sais quoi: from the incredible venue to the beautiful dress to the sensational styling – just look at that cornucopia of candles! – this catalogue of captures shows that heaven truly is a place on earth. Oh, and we haven’t even mentioned the Aperol spritz bar. Someone catch me before I fall even more head over heels.
Worried about rain on your wedding day? Step on over this way, stat. This incredible set of captures by Samuel Docker Photography – a supplier Paige & Ryan found thanks to this RMW real wedding – may, in fact, have you hoping for stormy skies, so incredible are the dramatic shots of this delightful day. Set against a backdrop of stormy skies and rolling Tuscan hills, the bride and groom look like movie stars, and their wedding album could truly be an editorial photoshoot, given what turns out to be amazing light for this spectacular setting. A Rue de Seine wedding dress, sweetheart table and fabulous florals simply serve to ramp up the A-list aesthetic of this intimate wedding. We have a feeling you’re going to want your pinning fingers ready for this one…
When the bride is a stylist and the couple get married in a clear span marquee at the groom’s family home, you just know the results are going to be epic. Throw in a sexy gown by Made With Love bridal (the Sasha FYI), images from Samuel Docker Photography and a film by Shutterbox and all of your wedding dreams have come at once. It’s a corker of a day and you’re going to love it. So I’ll pass you straight to Bride Elle, whose wonderful vision brought this wedding together beautifully…
Elegant, classic and sophisticated, this wedding has style in spades, but I guess that’s to be expected when the bride works at Amanda Wakeley. Naturally Anna designed her own wedding dress, with a little help from Amanda herself and the final gown is just beautiful. That bodice, with the sheer panelling and feather details is like nothing I’ve seen before, completely unique but utterly perfect for Anna.
The rest of the details for this big day follow suit, minimal but striking and all following a soft colour palette of ivory, green and black. Proving that monochrome absolutely doesn’t have to feel stark – just add candle light.
Images come from the wonderful Samuel Docker, whose work is always so natural and full of emotion.
Well, bride Charlotte a.k.a The Hand-Painted Bride is not only one beautiful lady in her Yolan Cris lace gown, but is also super talented. Her gorgeous style (which is absolutely incredible) is ALL over this wedding in the form of signs, stationery, customised letter jackets and trainers, and not forgetting the bridesmaids sumptuous satin gowns. Groom Julian also keeps true to his heritage donning his family’s tartan, with the rest of the groomsmen following his lead in hired kilts from Slaters.
As always the fabulous Samuel Docker has not only captured all the style and decor, but all the emotion, and love. He actually captured the couples first portrait at a friends wedding years previous to their own, so I bet it was super lovely to hear from them years later and see the connection he saw back then had blossomed.
The location for all this amazing-ness is the Chateau Malliac in South France, so sit back relax and get ready to be transported into a dreamy wonderland.
Samuel Docker Photography really does capture weddings to perfection, and this rustic barn wedding at Nancarrow Farm in Cornwall is no exception. From the 7am early morning run with the adorable couple to the late night sparkler exit and everything in-between, no moment or detail goes un captured. It’s just mind blowing photography and emotion filled pictures.
Obviously it helps that the couple, their guests and the venue, decor and florals on display are utterly immense. Bride Katie’s Catherine Deane gown in particular is divine and suits her down to the ground, despite initially dreading the ‘wedding dress’ shopping experience. The colour scheme is both classic and contemporary with a mixture of greys, white & green, and everything just fuses together beautifully. Some serious wedding goals here folks.
There’s so much gorgeousness to share from Kate and Luke’s big day, that I don’t really know where to begin. So I’m just going to let the images do the talking. When the couple are as creative as Kate and Luke and they trust Samuel Docker behind the lens, you just know the wedding is going to be perfection. From the fashion, to the venue, to the styling, to the food – every detail is just so thoughtful and cohesive.
Enjoy this one beauties, it’s a contender for my favourite wedding of 2017! And I’m pretty certain you’re going to agree…
Right you probably need to be sitting down for this one…firstly, it’s a Samuel Docker wedding, which means HELLO GORGEOUS IMAGES. Secondly it’s in a French Chateau of dreams, complete with an ivy covered facade and turrets. And thirdly Bride Ali looks like an actual Princess in the most stunning Pronovias gown. Honestly, I’ve swooned on the floor in a big heap just thinking about it.
The flowers are stunning too, Ali was inspired by this wedding featured on RMW, which is universally adored (so much so we used the venue to shoot some of the RMW Book). I’ve got a feeling Ali and Ben’s will be too…every detail has been planned and executed to perfection. Let’s take a look shall we?
Well this is a treat for a Sunday morning – the most stylish of weddings from Cripps Barn with gorgeous photography from the very talented Mr Samuel Docker. Bride Abi seriously let her creative juices flow when it came to styling her big day and the result is a gorgeous Winter wonderland wedding that is warm, inviting and elegant, while still embracing the agricultural spaces at Cripps.
I always love sharing Brides wearing Hermione De Paula, as Hermione’s designs are truly unique – Abi has her wedding date, special song lyrics and hers and Craig’s initials sewn into her dress. Isn’t that just the loveliest idea?
And not only is Abi killing it on the dress front, but her accessories are gorgeous too. I’ve been longing to feature a Luna Bea bride and Abi’s celestial inspired headpiece is just stunning and so original.
Oh and one final thing, I think more weddings should have a black tie dress code – everyone looks SO glam…
