Chances are your hunt for wedding shoes is going to fall into one of two camps. You’re either a self-professed shoe lover and see your chosen footwear as an integral part of your wedding day style and overall enjoyment. Or, you haven’t given a whole heap of thought to your wedding day shoes but you know it’s likely you’ll want to wear some, so you had better decide what they are. Regardless of which side you fall on (or even bang in the middle somewhere like me), there are tons of styles you can choose from (we’ve listed them at the bottom of this post – everything from white satin to boots and beyond). But before you go shopping, avoid any mishaps by reading our tips for choosing the perfect pair.
Graduate design students Ellie and Miff have really injected their personalities into the design and details of their colourful wedding. You’d think the mix of modern and kitch wouldn’t go, but it looks absolutely beautiful amidst 18th century country house, Barley Wood in Somerset.
Even more beautiful are the couple themselves, absolutely bursting with joy, making A Thing Like That Photography‘s job capturing special moments an absolute dream. Just wait until you see all the heartfelt ceremony pictures. Holy swoonsville.
It’s so lovely to see a coastal wedding gracing our pages, especially as it’s right here in the UK. The Gallivant in Camber to be exact, where the wedding party crossed the sand dunes, set off smoke bombs and looked totally fierce. Epic Love Story also captured some more intimate shots of Rachel & James dancing in the surf and walking off into the golden sunset which are just off the chart adorable.
The homemade cake, DIY decor and laid back vibes of this wedding is absolutely incredible as is the fashion. I am especially jealous of Rachel’s bright pink Hangisi Manolo Blahnik shoes, and doesn’t she look stunning in her Jesus Peiro gown.
