Colourful Home Wedding Under £5000 with Hand Fastening Ceremony

It was all hands on deck to make this colourful home wedding under £5000 a success. A friend officiated their hand fastening ceremony, parents offered their farm for the nuptials and everyone chipped in serving food and drinks. It’s a far cry from how a traditional wedding takes place, and what they see during their day job at M and G Photographic, but it was everything Hollie and Patrick hoped their day would be.

Katie & Ben

I think Katie and Ben performed the best first dance routine I have ever seen. Now that’s a bold statement, but their moves are literally outrageous, it looked like such fun and we do love a couple who properly throw themselves into things 🙂

The gorgeous pair married in a stunning Scottish wedding venue overlooking Loch Lomond. Boturich Castle looks like a magical place to tie the knot and then party until the small hours. The whole celebration has been captured by the wonderful Tub of Jelly who have totally nailed capturing that soft, hazy, grey Scottish light that seems to come and go in a flash.

Enjoy this one lovelies, it’s a proper knees up.

Nina & Dave

YES to embracing colour for your big day like Nina & Dave! Their whole wedding is a confetti bomb explosion of joy. And it actually pours out of the images from Marianne Chua – in every single photo people are laughing and smiling. Especially those where the guests (and not just the little ones) are LOVING the garden games. And those where the boys look alarmingly good in the Bridesmaids accessories…

Talking of which, I’d never think to put my Bridesmaids in teal and burnt orange, but my goodness, doesn’t it look lovely? And as well as all of the colour, there are lots of fabulous details – trestle table dining, wild flowers, seed packet favours, an ‘UP’ style American mail box for cards complete with balloons…it’s a veritable feast for the eyes.
