We are so in the mood for a beautiful – and beauty-filled – wedding, and this delightful day does not disappoint. Brympton House provides the perfect backdrop for the celebrations, which include a blushing bride in St Patrick La Sposa and a Britten Weddings veil (discovered through RMW’s handpicked supplier directory, The List), an elegant ivory, gold and grey colour scheme, a homemade chocolate biscuit refrigerator cake (mm mmm!) – and Barley the ‘bridesdog’. You will spy a few brollies amongst Helen Cawte‘s captures, but word from the wedded wise: don’t allow yourself to fixate on things which are out of your control. Bride Kate spent months worrying about the weather, and had more than ten forecast apps on her phone, but, with hindsight, she wishes she hadn’t spent so long worrying about the weather as there was nothing she could do – and she hardly noticed the odd shower. Plus, the white bridal brollies look rather lovely in the photos.
Classic style never goes out of fashion, and this wedding is proof that timeless will always be on trend. The bridal party look picture perfect in their black tie and blush bridesmaids dresses, whilst the bride is a knockout in her off-the-shoulder St Patrick dress. Ooh, that lace! Hampshire Collegiate School – the former home of Florence Nightengale, no less – provides a stunning backdrop to the celebrations, whilst clever calligraphy signs – including a mirror table plan, kraft label place settings and wooden sign – look great and get guests into place. Multitasking at its prettiest! This is the sort of day that will never date. Pinning fingers at the ready…
Karolina and Martyn married at a beautiful wedding venue in Lithuania, with Karolina wearing a stunning St Patrick gown and Martyn sporting a sharp bespoke burgundy suit. They both look utterly gorgeous and make such a striking couple, especially against the gorgeous backdrops of Nida – a pretty resort town with sea on one side and forest on the other. Which obviously made for some dreamy portrait shots, and these two are so hot, their photographs look like a piece of editorial!
Images come from the amazing Motiejus, who captured the day beautifully and tells us he loved photographing an intimate wedding, as he could really delve deep into the emotions of the day. That’s certainly clear in the resulting images, which are simply beautiful and full of joy.
