Self-confessed ravers, Laura and Matt attend Glastonbury festival whenever they can, so naturally their wedding had a bit of a party theme. With RAVE light up letters and even a Glastonbury themed table plan, their big day spelt out (literally!) exactly what guests could expect. And party hard they did.
RMW recommended venue, Stone Barn, is the perfect venue to throw a massive party, the food is excellent, the spaces are totally yours to customise and the dark roof is so striking when night falls and the fairy lights start to twinkle. Enjoy this one loves, the gorgeous images come from Meghan Lorna photography.
It always makes us really happy to read things like this from real brides ‘Planning the wedding from so far away had it’s challenges, but all I can say is thank goodness for RMW to help find inspiration, local vendors and resources – I found most of our vendors this way!‘
Connecting you lovely lot with fabulous wedding suppliers is our favourite thing – so much so that we have a wedding directory, filled with RMW approved wedding vendors who are all super talented and creative. And if it means you have a wedding day as beautiful and full of love as Veronique and Matthew’s then I think you better head over there sharpish 😉
Our gorgeous couple chose Jason Mark Harris to document their day, we have the film from Harris Films too – so get comfy and enjoy, the blooms are out of this world and there’s a stunner of a dress too!!!
The gorgeous Stone Barn in the Cotswolds in decked out in the Pantone Color of the Year: Ultra Violet, and looks absolutely incredible. Take the hanging flower installation for the instance, the delicious lilac and green hued blooms perfectly frame the ceremony and dance floor and make those already memorable moments and captures by Frankee Victoria Photography even more immense.
Then there’s bride Nina’s exquisite Claire Pettibone gown which will make your jaw drop it’s THAT stunning. Every angle you look at it you’ll fall in love with a different detail. It’s the perfect mix of elegance and boho beauty, just like this rustic barn wedding.
Gorgeous bride Kate married Joe Jonas, opppps I mean Rich, at Stone Barn, one of our all time favourite wedding venues. Filling the barn to the rafters with gorgeous blooms, rustic details and lots of live music, their wedding day looks like a proper party from start to finish.
Kate looks absolutely stunning in her floral crown and relaxed up do, I’ve never seen such a radiant bride! And Rich looks rather dapper in his braces and light blue suit combo too, even taking to the stage a la his doppelgänger Joe Jonas. Images come from the wonderful Harriet at Weddings Vintage. Make sure you soak up those couple portraits – THAT light!!! Swoon!
Rustic luxe weddings are totally having a moment – it’s all about embracing some of the agricultural or industrial venues available to us here in the UK but filling them with elegant decor choices – lots of candles, incredible florals and sophisticated table wear. Plus it means you can legitimately wear black tie or a slinky, sexy bridal gown like Mark and Kate. Who both look HOT by the way.
Stone Barn is a magical place anyway, but this gorgeous pair have put their own stylish stamp on it and it’s a pleasure to share with you this morning. Images come from the lovely Nichola at Lemonade Pictures, whose atmospheric style is perfect for this winter wonderland wedding.
Well where do I begin, the fabulous Krispy Kreme doughnut tower wedding cake so tall it nearly reaches the fairy light corrugated iron roof of Stone Barn, or the fabulous fashion worn by the bride and her best girls? Let’s start with the fashion, as I fear if I start taking about the alternative wedding cake I may never stop!
So, Bride Emily, what an absolute beauty she is in her Pronovias Tami wedding dress; the pockets, the cross over back with bow detail and the clean silhouette of the gown is simply jar dropping, and make all those portraits by Michelle Wood Photography of her with her beau Josh extra special. Plus I love, love, love the bardot neckline and high low hem of the bridesmaids steel grey ASOS dresses.
Keeping with the chic theme are the tin can white floral centrepieces, giant balloons, hanging paper lanterns and innovative barber board table plan, complimenting the already fabulous Cotswolds, country venue beautifully and making this a Winter wedding with a difference.
Are you sitting comfortably? Good, because this fun country wedding is about to knock your socks off. Featuring many of our very talented The Love Lust List recommended suppliers, which makes our hearts burst with pride.
Set at the truly gorgeous Cripps Stone Barn in Cheltenham and full to the brim with gorgeous florals from Juliet Glaves and balloons, peg board signs and other eclectic props from Hey Style, you won’t be able to resist pinning more than a few inspiring ideas for your own big day. I just LOVE the bright balloons, such a simple touch, but so inviting and effective.
One of the most amazing things about Cripps Stone Barn is the surrounding picturesque countryside. RMW fave Samuel Docker took Emmalene & Ben on a gorgeous stroll amongst the pretty, and has captured some truly romantic portraits for them to treasure. It also shows off Emmalene’s stunning Jesús Peiró dress to perfection, which she chose from Miss Bush Bridal, but was a million miles away from what she originally envisioned she’d wear.
Ok before we begin, I think I need to warn you that after viewing this feature, you may want to change EVERYTHING about your wedding plans, and make your wedding day just like this one…it’s THAT good.
The decor is simple but chic and slightly industrial – think foliage with greys and whites, an awesome hanging light feature made from pendant bulbs by the couple, giant grey bean bags for lounging and chalkboard signage with the prettiest typography. There is a deliciously wild bouquet, tied with long pale pink ribbons, there are colourful mini meringues from The Meringue Girls…And then there’s the fashion – the boys look so handsome in skinny fit trousers, different navy corduroy and waistcoat combinations and wool blazers. The Bridesmaids in dusky pink? Perfection.
‘But what about the Bride?’ I hear you ask, well I’m saving the best until last…Laura looks stunning in Charlie Brear, accessorised with a gorgeous gold pendant and, wait for it, THE epic shoes of amazingness, the Valentino Rockstuds. Yes, we’re all green with envy. They look SO good as a Bridal shoe.
This whole wedding is just gorgeous, I’m so excited to share it with you. Images come from RMW fave Samuel Docker. Enjoy…and yes, we’re adding the Rockstuds to our fantasy Christmas list too…
Oh my goodness. Where to start with this wedding?! It’s such fun, and it’s just bursting at the seams with decor that will make you squeal. Seriously – it’s that good!!! There are pineapples. Cacti. Little gold robots. Epic cinema style lighting with messages that were changed throughout the day to make guests smile, a naked cake made by the Bride’s sister, the sweetest meringue kisses made by the Meringue Girls…
And I haven’t even started on the fashion yet – a handsome glasses wearing Groom in a skinny fit suit by J.Crew. A stunning Bride rocking her Cymbeline dress with gorgeous ombre hair, a bevy of maids looking beautiful in mismatched pale shades and THOSE Vivienne Westwood shoes that are coveted by so many Brides.
Honestly lovelies, it’s just all so fabulous, I’m going to shut up and let you enjoy the images from Robbins Photographic and the vintage style film from Sugar8…
