Flora & Tom

What a lovely wedding we have here. Cambridge Cottage at the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew is the senstational backdrop and location for a personal Civil Ceremony and Prosecco and Gin Party.

Bride Flora wears a stunning dress by Paloma Blanca from Pure Couture Bridal with delicate belt detail and every girls favourite, Jimmy Choo’s.

We are loving the two cake trend, one savoury and one sweet and the two here are a dream. Flora and Tom opted for a show-stopping cheese cake by their caterers Richmond Creative and Rock My Wedding’s The List member Designer Cakes by Elle provides a four tier masterpiece with apple and cinnamon with salted caramel,  red velvet,  coconut and lime,  vanilla with rose flavoured buttercream layers and a traditional fruit cutting cake. HELLO!!!

This wedding is beautifully photographed by our friend Dan at Story + Colour. You can swoon at Dan’s work over on Grace & Tom’s colourful wedding and Fran & Matt’s urban cool humanist ceremony.

Grace & Tom

Look! Sometimes we do get gorgeous sunny days in the UK!!! Warm and lovely enough to hold a glorious outdoor wedding like Grace and Tom’s. I can’t think of a more deserving couple to hit the jackpot with the weather either, this pair had put their hearts and souls into their wedding day and I’m so pleased the sun shone down for them. It’s a riot of colour from start to finish and won’t fail to put a smile on your face, I’m sure of it!

Images come from Story + Colour, whose name has never felt more apt! The photographs are a beautiful keepsake of what was clearly a wonderful wedding – with story and colour literally running through every one! Enjoy this wedding, it’s a complete explosion of joy…

Fran & Matt

A ‘double bill’ wedding certainly sounds like the best way to ensure you get to spend time with your nearest and dearest and have a celebration your day your way.

With the help of Lauren Wyllie from Delicious London, oh so stylish Fran & Matt went about planning their urban cool humanist ceremony at The Worx in London. The industrial lighting there is fab and really set the tone for the rest of the contemporary wedding. There were geometric terrariums, a hand drawn portrait machine as well as fabulous favours drawn by Fran.

I have to say I’m utterly in love with all the autumnal hues too. From the sumptuous forest green satin Ghost Bridesmaid dresses to the burnt orange blooms, it’s almost enough to make me long for darker nights and rich tones already. Almost. Plus Fran’s bespoke gold dress, what can I say accept for simply stunning. Thank-you Story + Colour for smashing it out of the park and capturing both of these days to perfection.

Joanna & Andy

When it comes to deciding how to ‘theme’ your wedding – we always suggest starting with the things you love. Whether that’s a particular colour palette, an era of history, an artistic movement, a fashion designer, or in this case – comic books, it’s a sure fire way to ensure that your wedding is truly you. And if you didn’t already know, that’s what we’re all about at RMW (our wedding book is even called Your Day Your Way!) There’s no denying that Joanna & Andy did things their way…I feel like I know the lovely couple well because everything about their wedding day is personalised and special to them.

I love that they wanted to spend their wedding budget on giving their friends and family a big party and investing in amazing photography, rather than blowing it on shoes or accessories. Our favourites, Story + Colour (who you’ll find on our Love Lust List) have well and truly delivered on the image front, and I think it’s safe to say that Joanna and Andy most definitely gave their loved ones a night to remember! Enjoy lovely ones…

Sarah & Stuart

Now isn’t this fabulous. A weekend long celebration with family and friends from all over the country, enjoying the stunning Georgian house and grounds of Kingston Estate in Devon.

It’s lovely when the sun is shining, it means couples can take full advantage of the outside, having ceremonies under Pagoda’s, speeches on the terrace and star filled first dances in the courtyard. Creating some truly magical moments and pictures captured by Story and Colour.

The bright fashion and flowers are utterly immense too, guaranteed to make you smile and swoon with pure delight. Sarah’s Eliza Jane Howell ‘Jayne’ gown in particular is just heavenly, and I love that she changed her look after the ceremony by removing her veil and adding a delicate flower crown. Such a pretty classic country wedding.
