Nocturn Inspiration

‘You are my sun, my moon, and all my stars.’ by E.E Cummings.

What a wonderful quote to base this nocturn inspiration shoot on.
From the purity of the twinkling stars in the crisp white and perspex outdoor ceremony set up, right through to the inky night sky and majestic tablescape in Godwick Hall‘s great barn. The Little Lending Company has curated a truly beautiful concept for us to swoon over.

The flowers from Swaffham Florist have left me utterly speechless, especially the crescent moon gate. As has the sequin Jenny Packham gown and Tilly Thomas Lux accessories.Talk about goals.

Captured by the wonderful Agnes Black & The Wild Bride, this is definitely a shoot with so many achievable, gorgeous ideas you’ll want to bookmark and look at again and again, as well as recreate for you own big day. Enjoy.

Nathalie & Benjamin by Darina Stoda Photography Pin Image

Nathalie & Benjamin

This wedding is about to blow your mind, so make sure you’re sitting down (!) and have plenty of time to devour it. Nathalie and Benjamin’s wedding is styled to absolute perfection, with lots of foliage, white blooms and pampas grass (which is all over the internet at the moment – Nathalie and Ben were clearly waaaaaay ahead of the curve). Nathalie looks utterly ravishing in Rue de Seine, a true bohemian bride.

The couple’s venue is the incredible Godwick Hall, which never fails to make me weak at the knees, the brick, the lofty ceilings, the stairways, the wooden trestle tables – honestly if you’re looking for a venue in Norfolk then you absolutely must check it out. Images come from Darina Stoda, who is one of my favourite photographers (yes, I am allowed favourites), so it’s a real treat to share this beauty of a wedding day with you all. Hold on to your hats babes…you’re going to love it!

Wild Bohemia

How striking is this naked tipi frame adorned with flowers? Such a beautiful way to decorate your outdoor wedding ceremony. We love discovering new ways to decorate your wedding aisle, check out this post from our archives if you do too.

This frame has to be one of my favourites though, the swoon worthy combination of ribbon and dark Autumnal blooms creates a backdrop that won’t be forgotten in a while. Especially in the other-wordly setting of Godwick Hall. Images come from Darina Stoda, whose dramatic and evocative style lends itself perfectly to the styling here.

Simone & Nick

Simone and Nick are a little bit super cute.

Their classic and oh so beautiful wedding day at Narborough Hall Gardens is the epitome of the perfect traditional English summer wedding with clouds of hydrangea, boys in tails and the peachiest blooms to boot. And let’s not forget some swoonworthy images of the pair smooching in the grounds either.

Simone opted for an off the shoulder, button down back, lace Pronovias dress to celebrate her big day and boy does it look good with her natural and lush bouquet which I’m currently coveting. The cake is pretty darn sweet too…all the action was captured by Rachel Blackwell Photography.

Tara & Harvey

Oh this wedding is dapper with a capital ‘D’ with a very generous dollop of romance thrown in for good measure. Tara’s Sarah Janks’ frock is beautiful; in fact she reminds me of Tatiana from a Midsummer Night’s Dream all dressed in blush lace and tulle and frothy skirt and matching floral crown. Groom, Harvey, is clearly as proud as punch to be marrying his girl!

The pair married at Chaucer Barn in Norfolk against a backdrop of rustic charm and hay bales. I’m also seriously loving the copper toned table names which is the perfect way to inject a bit of personality and sentimentality into the day.

Kerry & Steve

Brace yourselves folks. Yep this morning’s wedding features sparkly golden pineapples as wedding table decor. I know. EPIC. But let’s not stop there. Can we all take a moment to appreciate the shimmering golden apples, the hanging lampshades, the horticultural table plan and THAT macaron tower. There is a plethora of inspiration to revel in so get your pinning fingers at the ready…

Steve the groom will be taking us through all the wonderful details of his wedding day at ‘Back to the Garden’ and ’The Lawns’ – both based in Norfolk. Just wait till you hear what he has to say about their amazing venues and the hoops that the owners of The Lawns jumped through to help Kerry and Steve say I do. Talk about customer service!
