Oyez, oyez, oyez! We officially decree that you down tools and turn your attention to this picturesque summer wedding in the Sussex town of Rye. Marrying classic with contemporary, this delightful day is a perfect mix of quintessential Britain and rustic revelry; we’re talking a Morris Minor wedding car, village hall reception venue, fabulous summer florals and to-die-for DIY tipi décor. We are utterly charmed. Road trip to Rye, anyone?
When this beauty of a wedding hit our inboxes, there were collective squeals at RMW HQ and I’m pretty certain that you’re going to love it too. Firstly, the images come from Jason Mark Harris, so you just know everything will have been captured to perfection and there will be some dusky couple shots to-die-for. Mai is wearing Hermione De Paula, whose bespoke floral creations are captivating – honestly that lady knows how to create a stunning dress. Not only is Mai’s day time dress utterly beautiful, but our stylish bride changed into a slinky Reformation number for the evening. And let’s just say SLAY is the only appropriate word. Mai looks incredible.
I haven’t even mentioned the epic peony filled bouquet, square shaped concrete look cake, the incredible woodland setting or caravan photo booth (!) Every aspect of this wedding is fabulously stylish and brilliantly fun. So grab a cup of tea, get comfy and enjoy…
You know when a couple name their festival wedding after a mash up of their surnames (Brost) you’re in for a treat full of fun, laughter and amazing inspiration.
Bridesmaids wore white boho dresses and boots, the Bride carries a wild flower bouquet and the whole event took place outside with a rustic humanist ceremony under some trees and a gorgeously decorated tipi reception full of lace, hessian and gypsophila. I know it’s just fabulous right.
And if all that doesn’t sound amazing enough, then the fact that they had a bouncy castle and summer fete games going on too will surely have you wanting to see more. And did I mention the couple are FIT!
So much love & happiness oozes out of the images captured by John Hope Photography of this glorious family orientated wedding. There’s is an extra special picture of our gorgeous Bride holding back the tears during her new husbands speech with their adorable Daughter watching on that literally just melts my heart; not forgetting the portrait of their little lady affectionately watching her Mummy as she gets ready *ahh*.
In fact there are so many special moments and heart thumping romantic gestures including an awesome engagement story and first dance sing-a-long that you may need to prepare yourself and go grab a few tissues!
As well as their awesome tales, you should also get ready to be wowed as the decor and attention to detail at their outdoor, rustic tipi reception is stunning. But the fabulousness doesn’t end there… every single person is HOT and dressed to perfection too, and wait for it…. all in incredible high street, budget friendly fashion!
Get those pinning fingers ready, it’s a goodie!
