Brides don’t come much cooler than Emily, who nails her arrival in a kit car, leather jacket, aviators and headscarf. Underneath, her classic Sassi Holford gown makes a beautiful contrast and perfectly complements the gorgeous Hazel Gap Barn, one of RMW’s recommended venues, which has all the features of a traditional barn – think exposed bricks, high ceilings and wooden beams – but is enough of a blank canvas to allow couples to stamp their mark. Emily and Andy chose to keep their décor natural, with breath-taking floral and foliage displays dominating their day. With sunshine and beaming smiles thrown in for good measure, this is the perfect summer celebration.
Venice – one of the most beautiful cities in the world was the location for Hannah & Matt’s destination Greek wedding; but to ensure they honoured Hannah’s Greek heritage, the ceremony itself took place in a stunning Orthodox church just around the corner from Saint Mark’s Square. The nods to Greek traditions didn’t stop there, later in the evening Hannah & Matt wore the traditional bride & groom money jackets, partook in some plate smashing and challenged family members to some Greek dancing too.
The wedding party not only looked super stylish in black tuxedos and blush pink Maids to Measure gowns, but they arrived in style too, making full use of the boat taxis to travel around Venice’s lagoon. And why have one immense bridal gown when you can have two. I literally can not choose between Hannah’s dreamy Romona Keveza gown or her Berta wedding dress, but one thing I do know is she looked stunning in both!
Everybody arrived at the fabulous Cipriani Hotel on Giudecca Island with the wedding breakfast taking place in a truly jaw dropping room complete with chandeliers, glass candelabras, candles and gold venetian masks, not to mention the neon lit dance floor.
Light and love was literally reflected everywhere at this Italian wedding, and capturing all the immenseness was the fabulous Bridgwood Wedding Photography.
This gorgeous couple have had me smiling like a cheshire cat the whole way through their city wedding. Chris Barber Photography has captured their infectious smiley personalities to a tee, making this a real joy to put together for you lovely lot.
Plus bride Kath wears the most fabulous pink ombre Jenny Packham gown I ever did see. Making a real style statement and looking every bit the blushing bride. Groom Kel certainly knows a thing or two about fashion as well, looking very dashing in a grey suit and woven tie.
I adore the simplicity of this day. Opting for a registry office ceremony and a pub reception but making each venue fabulous with a plethora of wild blooms, DIY projects, fabulous decor and fun ideas. This is the first wedding I’ve seen with a personalised social media snapchat filter, but I hope it won’t be the last.
Shall we take a look? I think you’re going to go pin crazy for all the intuitive inspiration.
