Featuring not one, but two of our recommended wedding suppliers, this countryside Dorset wedding at River Cottage is going to blow you away. Firstly you’ll be smitten with the brides blush pink ombre wedding dress by Needle & Thread, then you’ll be in awe of all the awesome games and entertainment Amy and Steve organised for their guests. I reckon I’d definitely be in for the running to win the welly throwing competition if my competitive nature decided to make an appearance.
Bride and groom Ne-et & Rob share a love the English countryside, so their wedding planner Emma from Something Blue found the perfect venue for them in the beautiful Pennyhill Park. Not only is it a magical 19th century mansion house surrounded by beautiful parkland, but it also includes the most picturesque pavilion which was the stunning backdrop for their outside ceremony.
Florist Liz from Blue Sky Flowers draped the archway of the pavilion in an abundance of pink and peach roses, white hydrangeas, and greenery and echoed the beautiful blooms in the reception with floral chandeliers, installations and epic arrangements. Gold edged glass plates, Charbonnel et Walker favours and gold foil menus by Emily & Jo stationery completed the elegant look, and together it is nothing short of spectacular.
Beautiful bride Ne-et wore a princess-style wedding dress by Sassi Holford purchased from Leoni Clare in Brighton, and beige Rockstuds by Valentino, and groom Rob looked just as fierce in a tuxedo by Dolce & Gabbana.
Ok before we begin, I think I need to warn you that after viewing this feature, you may want to change EVERYTHING about your wedding plans, and make your wedding day just like this one…it’s THAT good.
The decor is simple but chic and slightly industrial – think foliage with greys and whites, an awesome hanging light feature made from pendant bulbs by the couple, giant grey bean bags for lounging and chalkboard signage with the prettiest typography. There is a deliciously wild bouquet, tied with long pale pink ribbons, there are colourful mini meringues from The Meringue Girls…And then there’s the fashion – the boys look so handsome in skinny fit trousers, different navy corduroy and waistcoat combinations and wool blazers. The Bridesmaids in dusky pink? Perfection.
‘But what about the Bride?’ I hear you ask, well I’m saving the best until last…Laura looks stunning in Charlie Brear, accessorised with a gorgeous gold pendant and, wait for it, THE epic shoes of amazingness, the Valentino Rockstuds. Yes, we’re all green with envy. They look SO good as a Bridal shoe.
This whole wedding is just gorgeous, I’m so excited to share it with you. Images come from RMW fave Samuel Docker. Enjoy…and yes, we’re adding the Rockstuds to our fantasy Christmas list too…
