If you love things totally unique and ornate, trust us, you are going to want to see this Anyhoe Park wedding. Firstly, hello flowers! From the romantic pink and white blooms decorating the wedding breakfast tables to the truly spectacular staircase floral arrangement and door frame structure, our eyes have been wowed. Our pinning fingers have gone ten to the dozen too! We’re also smitten with the beautiful blossom trees lining the aisle during the wedding ceremony framing the adorable nuptials perfectly. There are lots more wedding day moments and decor captured by the lovely Lucy Davenport, so we’ll just let her beautiful images do the talking.
Ever since bride Mel was a little girl and discovered some photographs of her great grandmother’s wedding, she has been fascinated by vintage style, in particular, the Gatsby era. And so a Great Gatsby theme wedding was born, complete with finger wave hairdo, gramophone and champagne tower. Everything oozes glamour and sophistication, and is a true reflection of this couples love.
Isn’t this flower-filled, vintage Dewsall Court wedding simply jaw-dropping? Answer: Yes!
From the rustic venue itself to the rich tones, beautiful blooms, and immense decor. Every detail will have you swooning with delight. It’s no wonder Dewsall Court is a handpicked member of our supplier directory The List.
If you’re anything like me you’ll find yourself falling for bride Pippa’s Lusan Mandongus bridal gown too. The lace is truly exquisite and so fitting for their period wedding. The groomsmen scrub up well too. I love the jewel-coloured edges on the pockets of their navy three-piece suits, perfectly complimenting the colour scheme. Plus those wildflowers buttonholes are like nothing I’ve ever seen.
Capturing all the wonderful vintage vibes was Kerry Diamond Photography, whose eye for detail and precious moments will take you on a wonderful journey.
When you are blessed with beautiful light and the incredible surroundings of Hever Castle to have your dream pre-raphaelite mood wedding, the results are mind-blowing.
Add the talents of Carla Balin Photography and a couture wedding dress of dreams full of exquisite flower applique detail and you have a gorgeous wedding to sink into on this chilly Monday morning.
A Bank Holiday Extravaganza with a ceremony in the Long Gallery at Haddon Hall, Derbyshire followed with a reception with Peaktipis at Shiningford Farm.
Heidi and Ed first met aged six, each on family holidays in Turkey and held hands for the duration of their two-week trips. This was only discovered beyond some years living together, after falling in love at University, where they thought they had met and getting engaged. Did someone say destiny? You may have actually clapped eyes on this stunning couple as their lovely ‘meant to be’ story went viral.
RMW The List members Kemp & Kemp are in the kitchen again for this wedding and the menu sounds delish! A boogie on the dance floor followed by fish finger sandwiches – dream team.
Heidi looks absolutely sensational in a Hayley Paige number and both Derbyshire venues shine. S6 Photography has really captured something special here.
Some weddings are just made for RMW and the team and I have been swooning over this one for months and are so happy to finally have it gracing our pages.
This is one of those family-home weddings where you just think WOW, I wish my parents lived in a house where I could get married. I mean, it’s just beautiful. Not only are the house and gardens wedding-worthy, but there’s a church a stones throw away. The only thing Lucy and Andre needed next was a family friend with an epic vintage motor to bring them back up the drive. And low and behold, their neighbour lent them a vintage Porsche tractor. Quite possibly the most perfect wedding transportation I’ve ever seen.
Lucy looks stunning in Grace Loves Lace, the dress fits her like a glove and she’s a GLL bride through and through. I’m loving the bridesmaids in all-white too, they look so summery, just perfect for this classic British countryside wedding.
I absolutely love it when a bride and groom fully embrace a theme. Especially when the theme is a glamorous, roaring twenties, Great Gatsby inspired wedding.
Along with the planning and styling skills of Confetti a Colazione, Bride and groom, Elisabetta and Marco absolutely nailed all the little details. From Elisabetta elegant silk Jenny Packham gown, through to the Art Deco wedding stationery, and even serving their champagne drinks reception in coupe glasses.
All of the magic was captured by Matrimoni all’Italiana, who has made me swoon with delight over every detail documented at this Italian destination weddding.
Gorgeous Kate and Nat chose the wonderfully quirky Le Petit Chateau as their wedding venue, with it’s magical ceremony room, oak-beam ceilinged party room and the gorgeous grounds, it makes a truly special place to tie the knot. The girls have some great advice on planning a wedding with two brides, and while in essence, it’s exactly the same as planning a wedding with a bride and groom, there are a couple of extra things to think about 🙂 Dresses, being one!
Images come from RMW favourites, Willo Photography, whose natural, reportage style has captured all the fun and emotion from Kate and Nat’s beautiful big day. Enjoy this one loves, it’s a party wedding through and through, I think you’re going to love it!
French destination weddings, and those at Chateau Rigaud, near Bordeaux in particular will always hold a special place in our hearts. Although iconic, every couple manages to bring their personality, love and warmth to the venue. Especially when you have the talented David from Modern Vintage Weddings behind the lens.
Bride and Groom, Jenny and Rob opted to have a rustic luxe celebration with lots of white and greenery florals, and the dreamiest of wedding attire. Jenny’s Watters gown with romantic tulle skirt and delicate illusion and lace bodice is exquisite, as are the horseshoe waistcoats on the groomsmens Dress2Kill navy suits. Not to mention the bridesmaids billowing Jenny Yoo gowns.
As you’d expect the wine was flowing, the love was abundant and everybody was overjoyed.
Here are more ‘real wedding‘ reasons we love Chateau Riguad wedding venue.
