Boho weddings, wedding dresses and wedding styling are here to stay because let’s face it, it’s absolutely beautiful. That’s why we thought we’d fill your Friday with some gorgeous boho wedding ideas by the lovely Sophie at Idyllic Days. Set in the woodlands of Wilderness Weddings venue and filled with gorgeous dried flowers, impressive cakes and the cutest tablescapes. Enjoy!
Today’s woodland wedding inspiration has been a breath of fresh air putting together for you lovely lot today, especially as my current view consists of a dark and dismal rain-drenched garden. I highly recommend escaping for five minutes to pour over all the details it has to offer. There are lace wedding boots, giant hats, leather jackets, not to mention macrame details, Moroccan rugs and wicker pouffes. Enjoy.
We’re fully aware weddings don’t tend to be hugely eco-friendly events, but there are lots of ways you can reduce your carbon footprint if you’d like to… After all, “by us all doing a little bit, we can all make a big difference”. Jude from Wickerwood Farm enlisted the help of many talented suppliers to show you how an eco friendly wedding is possible without compromising on style.
Autumn has arrived at this wonderful Errol Park wedding and we’ve been relishing over every last detail. The woodland theme styled by Lemonbox Studios is simply magnificent and complements the exclusive-use venue and estate perfectly. There are cloche’s, fairy lights and spray-painted animals, plus adorable wedding signs and natural flowers aplenty. Not to mention the adorable couple who look magnificent in lace and tartan. The perfect attire and decoration for a Scottish wedding.
This boho wedding – with macrame decor, a woodland ceremony and bright blooms – has me beaming from ear to ear. Not only because every inch of the day is utterly beautiful, but also because there are so many special touches: a proud dad-daughter moment walking down the aisle; the bride dancing to Eric Clapton’s Wonderful Tonight with her 87 year old grandad; a ring box made from the wood of the bride’s grandfather’s apple tree; and 30 sleeping bags, sourced by the mother of the bride, being donated to homeless shelters once the wedding celebrations were over. Little wonder Emma from Freckle Photography describes the couple as two of the nicest people she’s ever met. This is one utterly gorgeous wedding which will warm your heart whilst also leaving you dreaming of your own woodland wonderland.
It may only be Spring, but we’re skipping ahead to Autumn this afternoon for all the delights of this bohemian wedding inspiration. There are meringue tower cakes, Persian rug altars and a tablescape of dreams. All of this is dressed in the most beautiful florals and foliage and take place in the wonderful woodland of Patrick’s barn. After you’ve reached for your pin button we apologise in advance to all kitchen cupboards who find them self raided as a result of mouths watering whilst savouring the delights of the dessert table. Enjoy!
You may want to get your pinning fingers ready because this outdoor woodland wedding at Upthorpe Wood is full of fabulous DIY decor and ideas. There are macramé and dreamcatcher hangings, plus glitter stations, ‘bake off’ cake tables and a whole lot more to boot!
Jenny and Tom are the smiliest of couples and their entire boho wedding is a delight to pore over from start to finish. Enjoy.
When you love hiking and classic Ford cars, it makes total sense to incorporate aspects of both into your wedding day! So Leanne and Steve chose to get married in the woods, inspired by Trondheim in Norway where Leanne has previously hiked, and obviously, their wedding car was a classic Ford. They also included their dog in their woodland wedding, as the ring bearer!
As a photographer herself, Leanne knew that she wanted Dale Weeks to take the photos of her wedding from the very beginning and luckily, he was available on their wedding day. The images are just perfect, as always, Dale has captured everything beautifully, in his natural and unobtrusive style.
Having a woodland wedding is always a little bit risky, but luckily for lovely Sarah and Jamie the sun shone down on them all day long, meaning they could enjoy their G&Ts in the warmth. Sarah looks like a mystical woodland fairy in her embellished Needle & Thread gown, which Jo from Enchanted Brides has captured beautifully. The dappled light under the trees is just gorgeous…
