Inspiration

I have to admit being sorely tempted to put every single one of these products into my online shopping basket (ahem, just for myself) so hopefully there's something here that will make your best girls smile. Treating them to a little something on the day is a great way to say thank you and to acknowledge the time and effort (and let's face it, money) that they have put into your big day. It doesn't have to be extravagant (unless you want it to be), like all good gifts, it's the thought that counts. And if you're feeling in a generous mood, head over to Rock My Style and Rock My Family where the girls are rounding up gorgeous gifts for friends and for new mums too, there are so many more lovely ideas. But first, Bridesmaids...

Sparkles
I think buying jewellery for friends is always a lovely thing to do, as you're likely to buy her something totally different to her partner, i.e. something a little more stylish and wearable everyday, rather than something romantic or classic (or perhaps that's just my experience?!) There are some simply gorgeous pieces out there, especially given that the rise of Etsy and Not On The Hight Street has meant that high street stores have had to really up their game. The little pendants that remind me of brightly coloured jelly tots are from Etsy and could be colour coordinated or contrasted with your girls dresses. Then there's the unicorn ring by Dogeared - how cute?! The elegant bracelets are by one of my favourite UK Jewellery Brands, Wanderlust Life who create minimal understated jewellery inspired by travel. Their pieces are dainty but stylish, and look great layered. They also have a gorgeous range of colours and birth stones to chose from, to make your gift even more special. And if you're after a gift that does good, Wanderlust Life are currently collaborating with the CoppaFeel! campaign for breast cancer awareness to produce a gorgeous Positivity Necklace, with £5 of the purchase price going to the charity. If you're looking for something a little more sophisticated, these gorgeous open bangles can be personalised with initials and come in sterling silver, gold plated or rose gold plated silver. These hugs & kisses earrings are super cute and also happen to be in the NOTHS sale - hurry hurry!!! And finally, those high street jewellery finds we mentioned before? Well the lovely Lisa from Rock My Style recommended Cos for stylish pieces at great prices and I wasn't disappointed - how gorgeous is this metal pendant? AND it's a total steal at £17. Apparently the pieces come beautifully packaged too...I want them all!
Personalised
I think having things personalised tends to divide people - for some it's a tradition best left in childhood, for others it makes special things even more special. I definitely fall into the latter camp and if it's got my name on it, I love it even more. First up, is this personalised Memory Book from & So They Made, ok ok so putting together a memory book while planning a wedding is a big undertaking, but it would make a truly special gift for a Maid of Honour who has really been there through thick and thin. For something a little more frivolous, a Kate Spade letter key ring is perfect, as are these adorable monogrammed trinket dishes from Anthropologie. Then we have these gorgeous pouches by TillyAnna that can be personalised and would look great in your 'getting ready' photographs. Or why not surprise your girlies by hanging their dresses on these sequinned hangers by Lilly Belle. And finally, something elegant to sip bubbles from on wedding morning, these personalised stemless champagne flutes from Fox Blossom are simply gorgeous and would most definitely be a treasured gift.

Pretty Things
A lovely scarf is always a nice present and the Isla Scarf from Hobbs has such a gorgeous print, I can picture it draped around the shoulders of Bridesmaids up and down the land, as the neutral colour palette would work beautifully with all manner of dresses. Not only do Neom Candles look stylish, smell incredible and are made in the UK, but this one is also a Skin Treatment too! What a totally indulgent treat. Then there are prints for her home - an endless possibility of things that mean something to you both. We love these two - the 'One Friend' print by Old English Co. and this Copper Foil beauty by Sarah & Bendrix. But you could always frame a particularly lovely greetings or post card too. Or how about somewhere pretty for her to store her precious rings - this ceramic ring cone is just too adorable. And finally, if you're really pushed for time and need a present that will guarantee results - you really can't go wrong with a Chanel lipstick or nail polish. Our lovely founder Charlotte O'Shea recently gave each member of the team Rouge Coco Shine in 'Boy' as the lovely lady at the counter told her it was the perfect suits-all-shade (and one very popular with Brides for that matter) and we definitely agree, it's a colour that anyone can wear and it's always a treat unwrapping a Chanel bag.
Cards
More often than not, a carefully chosen card with a thoughtful message means just as much as any gift - so never fear if your wedding budget has been well and truly blown. Say thanks with this card from Bonny & Clyde, as featured in our #bemybridesmaid campaign with PANDORA, or let the girls know that the party has started with this fun Champagne card from Studio Seed. And just in case there's anyone reading who is looking for a card to ask their best girls to be their bridesmaid - we love the fun designs by Paperknots (those flamingos!!!) and the gold balloon secret message scratch card by Sarah & Bendrix is amazing too.
