If you’re still searching for your dream venue, then you are in luck as the Pennard House private view is being held on Sunday 19th July from 1pm – 5pm. The event will be the perfect opportunity for couples to explore the rustic retreat for their ‘big day’. Couples who book their wedding on the day will receive 5% off the price of their wedding package.

The private view of this quintessentially British manor house will give guests the opportunity to gather innovative ideas for their wedding day whilst enjoying delicious Somerset cocktails and canapés in the sun, provided by Caroline Gent Catering.

To help envisage the day to the very last detail, Isabel While, the Founder of The Bridal Styling Company, will a conduct a live hair and makeup tutorial, taking into consideration the style, colouring and skin type for brides to be looking for creative inspiration.

There will also be a unique consultation with local bridal boutique, Carina Baverstock Couture, who specialise in chic and sensational luxury bridal wear, to ensure the gown chosen is perfect for every individual sense of style on the important day.

Pennard House has both an indoor and outdoor wedding license and guests are invited to explore the grounds of this hidden gem, adorned on the day with flowers by the Walled Gardens at Mells, to discover the variety of settings for tying the knot. Choose marrying inside the beautiful building itself, or revel in the summer sun with an outdoor country wedding in the Garden Pavilion, before continuing the festivities in the custom designed Coach House. Imagine taking in the sumptuous surroundings whilst celebrating with friends and family around the Victorian freshwater swimming pool and tranquil rose garden. For a more traditional ceremony, take a short walk across the lawn to the village church, the perfect place for a quaint, romantic wedding.

The recently launched Orchard Room has become the new focal point for brides on their big day, with recent renovations that include a beautiful mural, designed by renowned artist Frederick Wimsett that makes the perfect backdrop for wedding photography. Pennard House have designed a dream-like sanctuary for brides with picturesque views of the south facing lawns, the Victorian outdoor freshwater swimming pool, the lawn tennis court and romantic apple orchards.
