Our little slice of lunchtime loveliness for you today comes from Bridal Boutique with a difference, Pritchard and Moore, the exclusive bridal shop for Cancer Research Wales. Selling both new and preloved dresses, the team wanted to create a charity boutique that still felt special. If you're on the hunt for a gorgeous dress at a fraction of the price then do give them a call, you never know what treasures they might have in! And for all of those lurkers out there who are actually married but still visit on a regular occasion - if your wedding dress is sitting in a box collecting dust, why not donate it to Pritchard and Moore? It means that Cancer Research can continue to do an excellent job AND someone might be able buy the dress of their dreams. For the record, this post is in no way sponsored, I just think this is a truly wonderful idea. Unfortunately every single one of us knows someone who has been affected by Cancer, in fact only this week we featured a beautiful wedding where Bride Jo had lost her mum to this horrible disease shortly before her wedding day. Let's put the positivity of planning a wedding to good use! Enjoy this greenery filled shoot that Pritchard and Moore have put together and do get in touch if what they are doing resonates with you.
Organising your wedding day can be one of the most exciting yet stressful experiences in any woman’s life. Picking out that perfect dress for your special day can be a hard task with the high price tags and expectations in place. With high-end bridal boutiques being out of reach for a lot of women and charity shops lacking that specialness Cancer research Wales saw an opportunity to help women find their dream dress for a fraction of the price whilst providing them with high quality service to make them feel totally spoilt. Cancer Research Wales has been selling wedding dresses at it's Bridal Suite in Whitchurch since 2011. Some fantastic gowns have graced the store but the charity shop wasn’t able to offer that luxury bridal experience with all the other products on offer. So Pritchard & Moore was born; a bridal boutique with a difference. The first ever not-for-profit stand-alone bridal boutique in Wales offering an indulgent atmosphere, high quality dressing rooms and a specialist service. Named after two longstanding Cancer Research Wales trustees and eminent research scientists, John Pritchard and John Moore, both who have contributed enormously to the landscape of cancer research in Wales and beyond. With many of the dresses being donated directly by designers or other bridal boutiques they were able to create an experience that is just as special and high-end as it would be in any normal boutique. The best part being you can walk away with your dream dress knowing you have helped contribute to Cancer Research Wales pioneering research here in Wales. No luxury boutique would be complete without a fabulous photo-shoot to promote it and the charitable nature of the store meant very generous and talented contributors stepped forward to help this vital cause. Orchestrated by Cardiff creative agency Creo, photographers, stylists, florists, cake-makers, stationery designers and models came together to form a formidable team who worked harmoniously to create a stunning bridal shoot. Working to create an effortlessly natural and rustic look in the beautiful LLanerch Vineyard, the contributors ensured the models and setting were looking pristine. As a result of all the hard work, Pritchard & Moore could be presented to the world as a quality, stylish bridal retailer. A unique brand who is not only inclusive of all women but untarnished by the sigma of charity shop bridal gowns.
