Inspiration

How gorgeous is this venue? The romance of getting married at a Lost Orangery is just. Too. Much. I mean the lake and the outdoor chandelier? Dreamy. Then you add the flowers by Firenza Floral Design, the delicate gowns by Cherry Williams and a really unusual stationery suite from my new paper crush, The Wells Makery and you have a veritable wedding feast for the eyes.

Photographer Christina attended the fine art workshop, A Beautiful Way, run by Naomi Kenton and Holly of Belle & Beau Photography, and these gorgeous images are the result. I'll pass you over to Christina to tell you all about it...

The Photographer

Christina the Photographer: My name is Christina Sarah (Christina Sarah Photography) and I am a natural light wedding photographer who is hugely inspired by fine art photography.

I'm based between the beautiful South Downs National Park in the UK and the gorgeous Vendee countryside in France. I shoot weddings throughout the UK and France and absolutely love discovering new places.

The Venue

Hidden among the Wiltshire countryside is a delicious piece of Italy. This exclusive wedding venue is a true gem. If you are looking to plan a unique day with surprises around each corner for your guests then Valentina’s Lost Orangery in Wiltshire UK is just a dream! A glorious sunny day at The Lost Orangery makes it hard to believe you are not deep among the Italian countryside.

‘A Beautiful Way – The Secret Garden Workshop’ was set in this picture perfect venue. Valentina’s Lost Orangery is set in 500 acres of private grounds not too far from the historic city of Bath and sits perfectly among manicured and tranquil gardens which include a beautiful valley and lake where our bride and groom enjoyed a romantic boat ride together.

The Inspiration

The story behind "The Secret Garden" envisioned by the creative team...an English rose who also happened to be the Lady of the Manor fell deeply in love with the devilishly handsome groundsman. After a whirlwind romance, they sealed their love in an intimate ceremony within the Lost Orangery. This elegant setting added a warm Mediterranean feel to the day. It truly felt like we had been transported to sunny Italy. Hints of burgundy throughout this inspiration shoot paired with a romantic, floaty wedding gown designed specifically for this inspiration shoot by the very talented Cherry Williams added a touch of femininity and softness perfectly complimenting the fine art photography approach.

The Flowers

Beautiful flowers and styling from the lovely Firenza Floral Design featured throughout the entire day. Fiona’s floral arrangements looked like they had come straight out of a painting. The wedding day of Elanore and Spencer began with Elanore enjoying a serene moment on her private veranda just outside her bedroom. While she pondered about her love, she read a little poem he had carefully prepared for his bride to be. Her romantic details set the tone for the sun filled day ahead.
