The Wedding Shop Opens In Scotland

If you’re based in Scotland or the North of England it can sometimes feel as if ALL the wedding things happen in London and the South East – we know, we often feel the same. We’re based in the Midlands and so it’s always been very important to us that we share ideas and inspiration from all over the country, Europe and the world!

Today we’re really excited to announce that The Wedding Shop are opening their first dedicated showroom in Edinburgh. If you’re thinking about having a Gift List then The Wedding Shop should be your first and last port of call. They allow you to add experiences, cash and charity donations to your list and they really know their stuff when it comes to setting up a home together. Don’t underestimate the value of having a dedicated advisor to talk to about these things – putting together a wedding gift list is a once in a life time opportunity and friends and family really do want to spoil you. There’s an art to putting together a list that keeps both you and your guests happy. Plus there’s a lot to be said for seeing products in the flesh before you add them to your wish list.

The Wedding Shop, Edinburgh will open this February on the capital’s prestigious shopping thoroughfare; Dundas Street. If you’re based in Scotland then I’m sure you’re well versed in the gorgeousness that is shopping in Edinburgh – for those of you that haven’t been – it’s one of my favourite places in the world to shop. In fact, it’s one of my favourite cities in the world full stop.

This beautiful new showroom will display a vast selection of popular brands including products from Le Creuset and Riedel, to The White Company and Sonos. The two-storey space is the perfect relaxing and inspirational environment for couples to come meet with their own personal advisor and compile their dream list over a glass of champagne.

The Wedding Shop, Edinburgh will be open Monday to Saturday, 10am until 6pm. Showroom Manager Nicola Gemmell “Established for over 29 years, The Wedding Shop is the original bespoke gift list registry in the UK and I’m delighted to be opening their first Scottish showroom on Dundas Street. I look forward to welcoming couples to our inspiring space and helping them to choose from our portfolio of thousands of products as well as being able to add honeymoon vouchers, cash contributions, experiences and anything else they desire”.

Anne-Marie Jenkins, Managing Director of The Wedding Shop commented, “Our Dundas Street launch marks an important milestone in our growth. The Wedding Shop will be the first gift list provider to have a dedicated showroom in Scotland. We are thrilled to be able to offer the exceptional levels of service we are renowned for to the people of Edinburgh and beyond”.

  1. I visited The Wedding Shop whilst in Edinburgh for my sister’s hen weekend. It is a stunning shop in person and a treasure trove of beautiful items. They cater to different tastes and the girls are lovely. A pleasure to visit, look forward to using it for my own Wedding List next year.
