From the moment we stepped foot inside the bell, we knew that this would be the venue for us! Everything down to the finest detail was catered for by Tessa and her outstanding Team. We are still buzzing a week after. Whilst Friday 13th may be unlucky for some, we felt seriously blessed to be able to share our big day in such lovely surroundings.

From the moment we visited the Bell we knew it was the one for us! If you are looking for a fun, relaxed and unique wedding then don’t hesitate to choose this venue for your big day. The staff are friendly and professional, they have a knack for putting you at your ease whilst everything runs smoothly in the background. Tessa (wedding co-ordinator) is on hand from the moment of booking to the wedding day and is incredibly patient and laid back, she answers all questions quickly and is just lovely to deal with! All our guests loved the venue and bedrooms and the quirky details throughout; we were lucky to have sunshine so we could enjoy photos in the garden and the fire pit in the evening. However, we were never concerned about the weather as the Bell would also be a great cosy indoor venue. The food and wine is spot on and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Nothing is too much trouble and I really can’t praise the Bell highly enough, I hope you will take the opportunity to see for yourself!

The Bell has a very quirky and informal feel to it. It feels instantly welcoming and accepting and offers a fun and outgoing party for all your friends and family to enjoy. Tess at The Bell is such a lovely person and she worked really hard to ensure that we had everything we needed and more. I loved the county setting and how modest it felt in comparison to other venues which I think can feel a bit stagey and pretentious. The Bell has a room with big double doors that open outside called the stable with the table were we had the speeches and where people hung out generally drinking and chatting. It has a long sunken table covered in a red carpet where you walk down after the ceremony for the confetti throwing. This was one of the highlights for me and will always be a moment I remember with real joy. Thank you so much to all the staff at The Bell who made our day so wonderful!
