Planning

For 2019, bridal fashion is all about relaxed and minimal looks and naturally we've all been massively inspired by 2018's Royal Weddings. But also the 90s looks that have inspired street style, such as slip dresses and halter necks, as well as grunge, are being seen in bridal this year. More comfortable than wearing layers and layers of tulle, we're seeing satin and silk as key fabrics, long sleeves for ultra modesty and necklines that truly flatter the décolletage. Three core trends we've pulled from last years bridal markets and our favourite bridal designer's 2019 collections are Bardot and boat necklines, halterneck dresses and minimal, sleek silhouettes. We've rounded up our favourite dresses for 2019 that demonstrate these trends to perfection!
Bardot Neckline Wedding Dresses {Bridal Fashion Trends We're Loving For 2019}
The Bardot neckline is super flattering and so pretty for brides who want to draw attention to their accessories or a gorgeous up-do. Depending on how much structure your dress has, you may need to add a nude strapless bra. We'd highly recommend getting something properly fitted as you don't want to spend the day worrying about it falling down.
Halterneck Wedding Dresses {Bridal Fashion Trends We're Loving For 2019}
Think Meghan in her Stella McCartney evening gown. All the chic and sophisticated vibes. I absolutely love this look but it's definitely one for those who love their arms and shoulders. To get the backs of your arms ready, grab yourself a body brush and start brushing on a daily basis to help get rid of little red bumps that like to appear there. I've been doing this as one of my New Years resolutions and it's already making a difference.
Minimal & Elegant Bridal Looks {Bridal Fashion Trends We're Loving For 2019}
Beautiful tailoring really comes into it's own with this look. The fabric and cut of the dress do all of the talking here, so add some statement shoes, accessories or a large bouquet to complete this look. Embrace the sleeve, we love a long sleeve on a bride. Following your wedding, have your dress altered so you have a lovely white silk top or jacket to wear in the future.
Real Brides Rocking These Looks {Bridal Fashion Trends We're Loving For 2019}
