Inspiration

Oh my word, this is one absolutely breathtaking destination wedding. It is luxe, elegant, exotic and one hell of a swoon fest.  At RMW towers we are allllll about that dress change. Your wedding day has two parts and two moods. The romantic ceremony and the reception/party so actually it's the sensible decision to treat yourself to two dresses, right? Some desperate justification there but actually I think it makes sense. Tiffany opts for a cocktail dress for the reception with a back to die for and it really compliments the modern, navy and bronze decor for the evening.  Destination wedding photographer Thierry Joubert has captured this wedding perfectly, there is such fluidity with each image and the couples happiness radiates through the images.

Theme

Tiffany the Bride: We just wanted it to be simple, natural colours, white flowers - something that would be more timeless.  The bronze and navy accents were just to make it a bit more modern.

Styling

We left most of the details to our designer and stylists, Artika Events, who showed us what they imagined and then we trusted them to bring it to life - which they did oh so beautifully.

Food

We cared the most about making the wedding fun for our guests who all flew in, from over 20 countries.  Our friends know we love food, and we had to share that with everyone, which is why we started the events with a street food style welcome dinner and tried several caterers until we found M&M who makes incredible food, and their bread is baked fresh onsite.  Bread is everything!

Entertainment

We tried to be thoughtful about how the night should unfold, planning games for our guests during cocktail hour, in between speeches and how we were going to make sure everyone, young or old would end up on the dancefloor.  Of course, an amazing band and a healthy dose of alcohol helped - David loves Whisky and I love Gin, so we brought in our favourite bottles to fill up a His & Hers DIY cocktail carts as well.

Venue

We had just under 100 guests at our wedding - only our closest family and friends, and even then it felt so intimate, the private estate meant the wedding party was completely undisturbed.
