Inspiration

Get ready for your jaw to hit the floor as we share with you a super cool and vibrant tipi wedding. Bride Sorrel and her maids look fierce in tulle and leather. Former GB Olympian Groom Ed rocks a burgundy suit. And the flowers and decor are out of this world. If you aren't sitting comfortably, grab yourself a chair and sit back and enjoy.

Bridal Separates

I had absolutely no idea what I was after, my sister and bridesmaid Imogen had picked out the two-piece before I arrived at the dress shop. It was the first thing I tried on. We took photos of everything I had tried on and it was the two piece I kept going back too so went back a couple of weeks later to try it on again. My sister also went the extra mile and hand-painted our bridal party leather jackets which we LOVED!

Tipi Wedding

How absolutely stunning and vibrant is this tipi wedding? Very! The wedding decor and florals definitely give it the wow factor. I'm in love with the window pane seating chart, milk churn overflowing with blooms and the wooden signs and tree slices. If you haven't pinned all the images yet, why not?! Can we also talk about the skis arch for the confetti moment? Such a lovely way to add a nod to Ed's accomplished sport. Wedding Venue & Styling

The wedding venue belongs to an old friend of Ed’s, Ingrid Christophersen who he has known since he was young, so after we got engaged Ed called Ingrid and told her the news and she offered us to get married there! We wanted to marry the same year as we got engaged, so after looking at wedding inspiration, we fell in love with the Autumnal feel and colours. About a month before the wedding we took a trip to see the flowers being grown at The Home Grown Flower Company where I got to pick the flowers I loved, including Pompom dahlias. The mixture of pink and red looked great on the day. We picked up the flowers that were on the tables the day before and with the help of family arranged them in beer bottles.

Sorrel & Ed
Sorrel and Ed took the most amazing twenty-minute drive in Ed's refurbished Mercedes 1997 SL car between venues which captured the spirit of this uber cool couple perfectly. It also gave them time to catch up and reflect on the ceremony. If you fancy your own road trip in cool transport, check out our handpicked supplier directory The List.
