Inspiration

We are ending this week on a total high with this chic Town Hall Wedding London for our couple Kate and Will - not the Kate and Will but they were definitely royalty for the day! The Bride wore a polka-dot tea-length Zimmerman dress to show off the espadrille style shoe she had chosen. An informal and relaxed ceremony was followed by a trip in a classic big red bus to the reception venue, The River Cafe. With flowers picked from the Groom's family garden, this wedding was so effortlessly stylish! And this was just one of their days...this afternoon we will feature part-two, which we know you're going to love as well!

WHAT MADE OUR DAY UNIQUE

"We wanted the day to be a real celebration between our two families. We wanted it to be fun, relaxed and intimate but also to involve some really good food and wine! Our wedding ceremony took place at Chelsea Old Town Hall. It's just down the road from where we live and having walked past the famous steps outside it on so many occasions it was completely surreal to be the bride and groom making our confetti exit there! After the ceremony, we headed to The River Cafe for a celebratory lunch. The River Cafe is such a special place for Will and I. Over the years many celebrations have taken place there so it seemed the obvious place to celebrate our wedding day. Also, the food is incredible!! Both locations were perfect for our intimate wedding" - Kate & Will

Town Hall Wedding London

This Town Hall wedding London was an intimate and personal affair. Chelsea Town Hall is just down the road from where the Bride and Groom reside, so it was a no brainer for them to tie the knot there. The big red bus played cheesy wedding tunes that the guests sang to, dancing their way to the wedding meal at another meaningful and sentimental venue to the couple, The River Cafe.

INSPIRATION & STYLING

"My dress was from Zimmerman and I paired it with a pair of pink espadrille wedges from Castaner. My earrings from Soru were a last-minute addition to the outfit but I'm so glad I put them on as I rushed out the door! I wanted my outfit to feel special but also to feel like me. Will and I hadn't discussed our outfits beforehand so it was such a great coincidence that we had colour coordinated so well with the pinks! Will's mum Fiona made my bouquet and Will's buttonhole using flowers from her garden. They were so pretty and summery and I loved the colours." - Kate & Will

The Groom's Mother picked flowers from her garden to create the beautiful bridal bouquet for this wedding, we have a whole hub of DIY ideas so you too can get your hands dirty and create those personal touches! As promised here is part two of Kate and Will's outdoor nuptials.
