Inspiration

A couple of dapper grooms saying their vows in front of the London city skyline at Trinity Buoy Wharf and a twinkly fairy light backdrop. The couple decided to do two ceremonies, one for close friends and family first, followed by a larger one conducted by their friends with navy bridesmaids and page boys and very entertaining wedding speeches. The personalised ceremonies were followed by a delicious dinner of sharing platters and formal mains with guests also enjoying a slice of the quirky cake! The grooms both looked incredibly handsome in their wedding outfits with a green kilt and bowtie for Alex and a smart check suit for Tom!

What Made Our Day Unique

We actually had a legal ceremony first, at 1pm with our close family, followed by and larger ceremony held by our best friend, which made it fun and personal. It was also unique in the sense that the speeches were relaxed and informal, and the food was a mixture of sharing platters and formal mains.

Trinity Buoy Wharf

The gorgeous venue, Trinity Buoy Wharf, provides the ultimate views over the London skyline and is a great industrial wedding venue. The grooms chose to decorate with a fairy light backdrop and lots of greenery (including the suit!) and palm leaves scattered around. The perfect venue for a personal ceremony (or two in this couples case!) and a great space to dance the night away!

Inpiration & Styling

The vibe was very relaxed, and fun – a real celebration, surrounded by friends from the all over England, Scotland, New York, LA, Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore & Bangkok. It was a lovely balance of indoor and outdoor socialising with space for all 120-130 guests. The styling was simple – green tropical foliage throughout, with a hint of orange in our flower arrangements. Navy bridesmaids dresses, to match the navy seen in signage and stationery, which sat well against the simple architecture of the building and polished concrete floor.
