Inspiration

Monica at That Day has planned and styled Bride & Groom Valentina & Diego one seriously gorgeous Italian wedding. Set in an industrial factory and featuring SO many gorgeous set ups and details. There's copper accents, geometric terrariums, vintage dressers with cakes, favours and sweets. There's even a cigars and whiskey station. All are adorned with the prettiest white blooms and greenery floral arrangements, and all will make you swoon, sign and pin furiously. I also have to mention Valentina's gorgeous bridal look. It's not often we see a bride rocking a short hairstyle, but Valentina definitely nails it with her tousled locks. She also adds the sweetest cardigan to her beautiful Rembo Styling gown giving yet another contemporary edge to such a classic look. Carla Penoncelli was behind the lens today capturing all the deliciousness and emotion and what a sterling job she's done, definitely looking forward to seeing more of her work.

Wedding

Monica the Wedding Planner: Valentina and Diego are rockers inside (but very delicate and gentle outside), especially the groom, who played several years in a rock band. They even decide to go for borderline choices, like having a rearrangement of “Sweet child of mine” played during the civil ceremony, celebrated in a beautiful historical palace nearby Torino.

Venue

The location for the reception is a former clay bricks factory, now converted in a modern and unusual space able to host any kind of event.

Decor

Nordic inspiration for the coordinated suite and for the decorations. A lot of greenery, clay bricks, geometric patterns (one of the pattern has been inspired by a toy belonging to their sweet little girl aged two, as an intimate way to involve her) and solids have been used to create a coherent look and feel. A live band played a rock and pop repertoire. The couple is also very sensitive to humanitarian initiatives. Used books and novels have been used as escort cards. They are packed as “Libri al buio” (the book title is a surprise for the buyer as well) by a non-profit association and sold to raise funds for their activities. Also another no profit organization has been involved to collect food excess and donate it to those in need.
