Inspiration

This Spanish destination wedding has my heart racing. Styled to perfection by Paloma Cruz Eventos and captured by Serafin Castillo, it has one of the most beautiful outdoor receptions I have even seen with hundreds of twinkling fairy lights creating what I bet was a truly magical ambience. Also pretty epic is the IX century Santa Barbara's Castle where Victoria & Iain held there ceremony. Think rustic ruins enhanced with a truly elegant white floral arch and aisle flowers. Seriously folks this is not one to be missed.

The Wedding

Victoria and Iain, who live in London decided to get married in Spain, and the ceremony was officiated by their own priest. They got married at the church of Santa Barbara's Castle, dated from the IX century.

Flowers

They wanted a romantic decoration, so they chose hydrangeas, bouvardias, anemones, crasperias painted in silver, freesia, white roses and wallflowers, and to the bridal bouquet we added English roses. While all the girls were getting ready the Groom and Groomsmen enjoyed golf.

Colour Scheme

The colour scheme used was white, black and silver, with a touch of pink in the Bridesmaids dresses.

Venue

Dinner was held in a restaurant with scenic views, overlooking at the mediterranean sea. There was an endless path of candles and chandeliers, which led from the reception to dinner. A led light sky, with thousands light bulbs, simulating an sky full of stars, was the only light for dinner. At the cocktail, their guests wrote their best wishes on customized postcards and put them into a mailbox.

Cake

The cake was art deco style with geometrical shapes.
