Planning

When it comes to wedding day drinks, there are endless possibilities for gorgeous ways to serve your guests a little tipple. Whether you're styling something yourself, hiring something or doing a mixture of the two, our recommended supplier directory The List, has got you covered. If you're looking for a bar with a certain je ne sais quoi then look no further...

Rustic Bars Perfect For Outdoor Weddings

If you're having a tent or marquee wedding, then your hire company may well have bar options available for you to add to your package. Tipi and Sperry Tent favourites, PapaKata have a stunning round wooden bar that really makes a statement and you can book it with complete peace of mind knowing that it fits perfectly into your chosen tent. The brilliant Made By Wood & Wood specialise in creating personalised wooden details for you big day and that includes the epic bars you see below in the gallery. These guys have produced signs and bars for some of my all time favourite weddings featured right here on RMW, so if you're after something unique and special then do give Chloe and Tom a call. The Watering Hole Event Bars are perfect for those of you who want to bring an industrial vibe to your wedding - the gorgeous Edison bulb lights make a really cool feature and this is a bar guests won't forget in a hurry. To take your wooden bar from rustic to rustic-luxe - florals are the way forward. This dreamy flower installation by Martha and the Meadow across the bottom of a wooden bar really elevates the look and it's easy to picture glamorous guests drinking pink champagne there :)

Mobile Bars - Where The Drinks Come To You!

Cocktails on wheels? YES PLEASE. Our recommended supplier directory The List champions a host of great mobile bars such as pioneers in this field The Travelling Gin Co., who were transporting gin around by bike long before this whole thing become super trendy. Their bike still manages to be one of the coolest, most stylish options out there and word on the street is they mix a mean gin cocktail too. Fancy bubbles? The Bubble Bros have you covered with their beautifully branded motorbike and Prosecco van. New kids on the block, The Dawdling Duck have converted a much loved old horsebox into a quirky mobile bar and we have a feeling they are going to be booked up rather quickly so get in touch ASAP for last minute 2018 availability!

Beautiful Bars In Action

Obviously with all the bars we recommend on The List, the drinks they serve up are going to be delicious, but it's also important that the bar looks good too. It's a wedding day after all and this bar is going to be in the background for many of your photographs! Two of our absolute favourites in terms of wow factor have to be The Buffalo Bar - a converted airstream caravan that really makes a statement. So much so, that the Buffalo team are introducing a second van to their fleet to meet demand! I can personally vouch for these guys, not only is their vehicle gorgeous but they really know their stuff when it comes to drink mixing. For a vintage French twist, try La Belle Vie Artisans, whose glorious duck egg blue coloured van is utterly beautiful and adds a touch a class to proceedings.

The Finishing Details...

What really makes your bar a special place to hang out (aside from great drinks of course) is the finishing touches. Don't forget our recommended supplier directory has a host of people you can hire items from like glassware, signage, light up letters and other props. Just browse the decor & hire section to find things you love. The lovely Rachel from Another Story Studio styled her own wedding day Champagne bar with simple wooden log slices, wooden palettes and ceramics - the overall effect was so stylish and this wedding went viral on Pinterest :) Don't discount cute kitsch details either, like cocktail umbrellas and bright paper straws. Stationers Dearly Beloved Design finished their wedding bar with both and some hand written cocktail menus and the result was such fun. It's the bar - remember it's all about celebration and joy!

And finally, embrace the large, cooling vessel that is...a bath. Either find one and fill it yourself for a cheap and cheerful option, or hire The Original Gin Bath to really tickle guests and create a fun feature for your big day. There really are some wonderful options available for keeping guests hydrated on your wedding day. Visit The List to find RMW's favourite bar, decor, hire and catering companies who will be able to help bring your bar dreams to life.
