Bride Samantha's Pronovias wedding dress with a detachable skirt provides two fabulous bridal looks with its sleek lace silhouette and princess style tulle overskirt. It's no wonder her and her husband was captured beautifully together dancing through the forest by Livi Edwards photography. In fact, their whole Winter wedding at North Wales wedding venue Tyn Dwr Hall will probably have you skipping for joy too it's that stunning!

What Made Our Day Unique

Our day was unique in a way we hadn't planned when the weather broke records! When we first started to plan our wedding I suggested a 'Winter Winter' so that our wedding would be different to any of our friends or other weddings we had been to. A lot of people were surprised I suggested this as everybody knows how much Craig and I love to holiday abroad... Although I had a winter wedding in my head with a 'Magical' theme, I hoped for a crisp blue February day, so people could admire the mist and snow over the mountains with also the beauty of a sunset. On the morning of the wedding, we woke up to a bright pink sky ahead of the most glorious sunny February day. So many locals couldn't believe the weather we had on a February day. I would have been happy with anything but we were SO lucky with what we got, we couldn't believe it!

Wedding Dress with a Detachable Skirt

Samantha actually put off looking for her bridal gown until she really had to. She was worried she wouldn't find anything she 'loved', or get confused by looking at too many dresses. After researching a few brands she narrowed down her choices and realised she really liked Spanish designer Pronovias. And who can blame her with their incredible styles and exquisite fabrics?! Her Edith wedding dress with a detachable skirt is utterly fabulous and together with her groom in a black-tie suit, they look hot!

Inspiration & Styling

I would say the vibe of our wedding was FUN and filled with love and a lot of laughter. So many people commented on how much fun they had and also how relaxed Craig and I were. We wanted our wedding to have all of the formalities a wedding should have but we both like a party so we wanted to make sure the evening was a chance for everyone to really enjoy themselves, party, dance and let their hair down. Most of our guests have known us both since we were teenagers so it was really nice to be surrounded by our close family and friends all these years on our special day. We were both really emotional during the ceremony but it was a light-hearted ceremony with quite a few giggles...

After booking North Wales wedding venue Tyn Dwr Hall, (who just so happens to be one of our fabulous recommended suppliers,) bride Samantha started following them on Instagram so she could take inspiration from how other couples had decorated the venue. They decided to make their own order of service booklets, candle displays and name settings, as well as craft a genius 'find your face to find your place' table plan. It featured a Polaroid photo of every individual and made a lovely interactive way for guests to find their places at their wedding breakfast.
