Who said you can't have a beautiful wedding for under 10K? Not us! And certainly not Anna and Tim who poured their absolute heart and soul into their boho wedding by making DIY signs, a globe guest book and hoop bouquets. Every inch of their day oozes personality and just goes to prove what you can do to make your budget stretch that little bit further.

What Made Our Day Unique

We were very hands-on from the start as we knew we would enjoy the DIY aspect of it. We planned, sourced and made everything we could and had fun doing it! With just our immediate family, we privately, intimately and officially married in the beautiful St Georges Hall in the morning before having a larger blessing in the afternoon. While Anna got ready with her bridesmaids, Tim was putting the final touches on the second venue. Our guests were given a glass of prosecco and a handful of rose petal confetti on arrival before taking their seats on hay bales either side of the rug aisle. Anna's dad led the blessing where we exchanged vows and rings in front of our families, friends and two dogs, George and Finn!

Wedding for Under 10K

Anna and Tim got really stuck into wedding planning and did a lot of their own DIY wedding decor. By keeping a tight hold of their purse strings they managed to have their dream wedding for under 10K! They made welcome signs, an order of the day sign and food menu signs. They also made the bridesmaids flower hoops and Anna's flower garland which she wanted instead of a traditional wedding bouquet. They didn't once get overwhelmed or stressed, and by delegating jobs to more than willing family and friends they thoroughly enjoyed the run-up to their wedding.

Inspiration & Styling

We always knew we wanted to hold the ceremony outdoors with a boho, laid back vibe so we designed everything around that. We found the Riversdale Club with the view of the River Mersey and knew it was the place for us! (We ended the night with fireworks overlooking the river!) We wanted our guests to relax, enjoy themselves and also try something new with an all-vegan food wedding! We wanted a real family feel and had cakes made by aunties and friends for dessert. We chose our band because they created a Spanish holiday vibe and as we love to travel. Anna loves gipsy blossom so it was in the bridesmaid's braided hair, buttonholes and centrepieces on the tables. She also wanted something different to a traditional bouquet so created her own flower garland which she draped around her when walking down the aisle.
