The team here at Rock My Wedding are hands down the most stylish bunch I have ever worked with. For instance, our Slack chats are constantly choc-a-block with recommendations for gorgeous skirts/trainers/swimming cossies/dresses/hairclips. So, if you’ve got a wedding in 2019, then you’re in luck. Because Team Rock My Wedding has done the hard yards of shopping around and found the best wedding guest dresses for you.

The Best Wedding Guest Dresses {As Recommended by Alice}

Alice is our Marketing and PR Manager, and also the newlywed of the group. You may have spotted her looking blinking gorgeous whilst modelling our DIY hoop bouquets a couple of weeks back. Alice recently bought this Bardot midi from Asos for an upcoming wedding. Also, this Zara pleated number has certainly caught her eye.

The Best Wedding Guest Dresses {As Recommended by Becky}

Becky is RMW’s graphic designer and podcaster. If you haven’t heard her dulcet Brummie tones on Rock My Wedding: The Podcast yet, then what are you waiting for? This week’s podcast is all about Photography and it is SO USEFUL. Especially if you’re wondering how to choose your photographer or what to ask them. But back to fashion... You can always rely on Becky to bring an edgy print or a bright colourway to the table, and both of her picks also happen to be perfect wedding attire. The cut of this Warehouse midi is so unusual and elegant. Also, you just know you would wear this colour block dress time and time again over the summer.

The Best Wedding Guest Dresses {As Recommended by Lorna}

Lorna is our Content Manager and World’s Biggest Oasis Fangirl, (that’s Oasis the high street retailer, not Oasis the indie band). Oasis is Lorna’s go-to for dresses as they’re always excellent quality and fit really well. This Oasis midi is oh-so-flattering and ticks all the trend boxes (polka dot, patchwork, midi-length etc.). Lorna also shares my obsession with Needle and Thread gowns and is eyeing up this absolute beauty of a sequinned midi for a wedding she’s going to soon. STUN-NING.

The Best Wedding Guest Dresses {As Recommended by Lisa}

Oh hey, that’s me. You can usually find me knee-deep in doilies/flowers/embroidery hoops coming up with DIY wedding décor creations, or writing for our little sister blog, Rock My Style. One of my favourite shops for dressy dresses is & Other Stories, and I’m loving the 70s vibe of this striped midi. Likewise, I’m currently obsessed with this Leppo frock from All Saints and would be pairing it with my Fiollas and a black leather envelope clutch.   While knowing what to wear to a wedding can feel like a difficult task, hopefully, the team's favourites for wedding guest dresses this year, have given you a better idea of what to wear, or at the very least, a shortlist of the best shops to go to for both fit and style.
