What's your style of photography?
3 words! Natural, Creative, Moments. I think by now we all realise the best photos from each wedding are telling the story of the day, capturing the joy and the real moments rather than too much staging or making things too cheesy. Not that we can't get creative, with lighting or during a couples walk at an amazing venue; and of course we will do the important close family portraits. But the reason people book us is for the natural moments that we capture at each wedding.
Do you travel?
Yes! We've had the privilege of shooting weddings at multiple locations all over the UK and abroad. If you can get there we can get there! For destination wedding photography and travel costs get in touch and we can work out a package just for you guys!
Do you offer albums?
I love seeing a finished leather album, its a fantastic way to relive each moment from your day with your spouse, family and friends. Our high quality albums are printed and bound in Italy, whilst all the design work is led by us with your input as we go. We'd be happy to chat through options and share examples.
Do we need a second photographer?
I would say that around 80% of my weddings I fly solo, so you can rest assured you're not going to miss a moment with one photographer. However, there are some cases where it might be helpful to bring another professional along and I have a great team of quality guys and girls, ready to assist should this be what you're looking for.
Do you backup your images?
Absolutely! These moments are precious and worth keeping safe! Our cameras have dual card slots so we are actually backing up our images as we capture them. We also make multiple backup immediately after every shoot, so that before we head to bed, there should be at least 4 copies of your wedding! It costs a fortune in hard drives, but it worth it for our peace of mind and yours!
What do we do about rubbish weather?
Rain has never ruined a wedding I've photographed. I've worked in sun, rain, snow, heatwaves, summer and winter. We tell the story of each day and I've found over the last 10 years there's always opportunities for great moments whatever the weather. We're always ready to adapt, and no weathers going to stop you celebrating your big day.
We're not confident with photos, how can you help?
Rather than focusing on cheesy poses, I like to put you both at ease by blending in with the guests and capturing the natural moments. It's also important to get to know each other ahead of the big day. I'm not saying we'll have a curry every Friday night, but I don't want to be a stranger on the big day. One way I've helped people build confidence is through Pre-wedding/Engagement shoots. This is a great way to get to know each other and give you a taste of being photographed. It's always wonderful to see peoples confidence rise after these sessions, then to see them strut their stuff on the big day!
We're convinced how do we book?
Great news! Once we've had a chat to confirm you're happy with everything, I can send over 2 things; the online booking form and details for the booking fee. Once these two are in, your date is saved and you can tick me off your to do list! The final payment isn't due until after the wedding, roughly 4-5 weeks later once the pictures are fully edited and ready to go!
