Miranda was an absolute pleasure and joy to work with!  She was not only our celebrant during our wedding day, but she also our wedding agony aunt whilst re-planning our wedding three times during the pandemic.   Given most people have never planned a wedding before, she is so happy to provide useful guidance and advice about all aspects of your wedding and isn’t just your celebrant!    Miranda really loves to get to know her couples which enables her to write a really personal and beautifully crafted ceremony. She keeps certain aspects a surprise which is such a lovely touch for the couple to enjoy on the day. She works with you to write a ceremony that is meaningful and tells a story about your relationship, goals and wishes together as married couple.   We would highly recommend Miranda as a celebrant and master of ceremonies. She was absolutely fantastic on the day, kept our day running like clock work, working with all of our vendors and running our timetable; meaning as the couple we didn’t have to worry about a thing as the vendors were able to liase with Miranda and not bother us, which it’s worth its weight in gold.

We were recommended Miranda’s celebrant services by our venue, High Billinghurst Farm. We had originally planned to do a wedding in Italy but travel restrictions meant this was no longer a viable option. It meant we had to plan this wedding in four weeks! It was a daunting task but we can absolutely say that having Miranda on our ‘team’ meant that it made it a little less daunting. We travelled to her lovely home to meet with her, and we instantly felt she was the right person for the job. Those first impressions were correct, and she was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. The ceremony on the day was beautiful and we were blessed with sunshine. Both in terms of the weather and in terms of Miranda’s ceremony. The words she put together and the assistance she provided in making sure our vows and readings were memorable was amazing. From the moment we met Miranda we knew we were in safe hands. We had no idea where to begin with planning our wedding ceremony except that we knew we wanted something non-traditional and that reflected our unique journey as individuals and as a couple. Prior to meeting Miranda, we had been nervous about this part of our day but she immediately put us at ease. Miranda is drama-free. In the months and weeks before our wedding, whenever a problem came up, we were able to turn to Miranda for advice and support. Miranda took time to get to know us. She asked lots of questions about our background, our story, our hopes and dreams before discussing our ceremony. She then crafted our responses into a ceremony which became the highlight of our day and set the tone for what became the most magical day of our lives! On the day of our wedding, Miranda took time to welcome our family and friends and make every individual feel embraced and loved. We feel completely blessed to have found Miranda for our wedding day! Our venue recommended Miranda completely by chance, and what a chance that was! She is one of the bubbliest and friendliest people we have ever met! From the first time we spoke we got on so well - with mutual interests very much in common (cough cough, Lord of The Rings!) She put us as ease and helped us manage a process we were not very knowledgable about at all. She explained each step and what we needed to do in preparation for our ceremony - including our legal ceremony too. She asked us to fill in some questionnaires so she could use the information to write our own bespoke ceremony script, completed catered to us and who we are as a couple. She let us add, remove and change the script as many times as we wanted, so we could make sure it was perfect. On the day, Miranda arrived early so she could prepare and meet our wedding party. She was instrumental in making sure the ceremony ran smoothly, whilst I was away not being able to manage a thing! Our ceremony was beautiful, and everything we wanted and more. It was intimate, personal and had the perfect balance of humour and emotion. Our guests commented on how moving it was, and how great Miranda was performing our ceremony. Thank you so much to Miranda for all you did in the lead up, and on our wedding day - without you we couldn’t have had the day we always wanted. We are forever grateful!

Miranda was a breath of fresh air when it came to planning our wedding ceremony. The moment she picked up the phone, we knew that she was the one for us. She went above and beyond to help us craft a perfectly unique and personal ceremony and every single one of our guests was blown away on the day; no one had ever been to a wedding ceremony quite like ours! Our original plan was to have a registrar re-create our legal ceremony, and we are so incredibly glad we didn’t!
